One thing I find interesting is that Jimi says he has no one but this girlfriend to anchor him to reality, yet he finds it hard to even give her a call. Feels like he was drifting around too much. Also shows some part of him was likely always "shy"; the one person he felt grounded with at the time, he found it hard to give her a ring.
