I'm finishing a rewatch for the first time in a while. In doing so, i think Vasquez's character in season 6 doesn't fit the pattern of his actions in earlier seasons. His actions in season 6 are kind of unhinged and don't quite fit with how he reacted in earlier seasons. I understand his actions towards Raylan and Ava are necessary to move the storylines along, but they don't make a whole lot of sense

He overly pressures Ava about getting information on Boyd asap. That doesn't fit how CIs in a RICO generally operate.

He rips up Ava's deal (whatever it was) because Boyd learned she was a CI, even though she was truthful and still out on the street.

He goes after Raylan based on a mere hunch that he and Ava stole Markham's money. While he was understandably suspicious in season 1 with Raylan and Ava, Raylan has been generally above board with him the rest of the series. More importantly, Vasquez defended Raylan when Quarles and the dirty FBI agents tried to set up Raylan as a crook. Vasquez also says nothing about the Nicky Augustine issue, that was purely between Raylan and Art.

Amd he worked with Raylan to try Kendall as an adult to set up Darryl Crowe, Jr.

Vasquez's intense heel turn in season 6, to me, does not make a great deal of sense in light of the above facts. It'd seemed over the top just to move the story along.

Some similar shows I have watched are 24, Dexter, True Detective. I also love slow burns but right now I am in the mood for something fast paced and found Justified,it's first and second episode was really good but now 3rd episode feels slow to me!

Just watched the GTA 6 trailer, and Jason's voice sounds exactly like Choo Choo's.....Now I can't unhear it. Kinda even looks like him haha

There’s been no confirmation about any of the cast, but after watching the showcase, the male lead sounds just like Choo-Choo to me.

Jesus Christ, that was the first time I saw him be menacing. He knocked it out of the park.

Watching Darryl and Danny argue, when Darryl says, “Why did you have to run that lady off the road man? You a dumbass” and Danny responding by just yelling “Oh you gonna blame it on me? Its all my fault?! You gon blame it on me?!” Over and over again.

It really makes me think awful things, like that whole bloodlines is just defective lol. Dilly’s dumbass who got killed in season 5 first episode. A complete moron, a gambler who loses the family money (twice over i think) and then shoots the coast guard on an impulse. Total animals lol.

Anyways, i think on my millionth rewatch, i’m deciding i really like season five. Easy to like when you skip all the Ava jail scenes after the guard shank incident. Even bitch-aaass Michael Rappaport with his bad accent is pretty good in it.

So for a long time i have being trying to get a place where i could watch this show! Finally i found it on disney + and started watching. Let me just say this show is a MASTERPIECE!!

Starting at season 1 the first episode truly hooked me in! Did it slow a little mid season 1? Yeah! But this isnt a bad thing as it paces things for whats to come! And boy there is ALOT to come! Could this be the best cast of characters in a show? I mean it is absolutely stacked with star power in each and every season! What i found really intriguing was the link up between characters! So many great dynamics to name but ultimately it comes down to Rayland And Boyd [ good vs evil if you will/ is Raylan good though? Some of his actions really make me question that ] these two are just making magic together whenever they share the screen! The prison scene at the very end was one great way to end a show! Was it the fact that Raylan actually enjoys chasing after Boyd ( much like Batman/Joker ) that he returned to visit an old friend instead of reporting the 'death' of Ava?

Anyway i thoroughly enjoyed all 6 seasons : the characters, the story, location, branching storylines were just amazing! One of those shows that will truly stick with me long after i've watched it id imagine.

How would raylan react if he found out Willa wanted to become a Marshall like him

Raylan gets really cruel in Season 6. I guess it makes sense thematically. He both does and doesn't want to get out of KY to be with his kid, but he has chosen Boyd as the reason he can't leave yet. So he is pretty terrible to Ava, Dewey, anyone else he needs to be because he needs to think Boyd's why he can't fulfill his obligations.

It also makes sense in terms of the showrunners needing to cap things off, so Raylan gets more assertive and proactive about all the shitkickers he was letting play out their own destructions before this season.

As much as I don't like City Primeval, it is nice that he at least has a better relationship with his kid than this start seems to promise.

Was Hershel justified ?

Never watched before, but was always aware of the show. Finally got round to watching it. Speedran the original series before getting onto Primeval.

Currently on episode 5. It started off well enough, by this point I’ve forgotten what I’m watching. Holbrook is great but the character is so flat. Raylan also seems quite tired of life too. And then that romance?! This show is 3-4 years old, the world wasn’t that different but the writers seem to have forgotten the character from his Kentucky days to this time period?

The humour also seems to have evaporated by this point.

Is the cast supposed to be ensemble? Why does he feel almost like a secondary character despite being the protagonist?

I am drunk and on my.... fifth? Watchthrough of the series. I'm halfway through the 2nd season and boy howdy. One of the many, many reasons I love this show is that all of the characters are so grounded and flawed and believable. Even then, Jesus Christ is it painful to watch Raylan's decisions sometimes.

Granted, Ava was a bit of a loony in the pilot, but she quickly turned into a lovely character. Even then, I can understand that he didn't find her romantically appealing enough to commit to her. Or maybe he did but finds himself too fucked to consider it. I can even understand being a complete idiot about it and kinda just fucking it up instead of handling it like a grown man and breaking up before hurting anyone. I've done that. Feelings and accountability is hard, man. No tape measure or power tool is going to prevent how bad it feels looking in the eyes of someone you hurt.

But goddamn Winona? To whom emotional manipulation comes more naturally than breathing? Who can't go 20 seconds without coming up with a guilt trip over something, probably even to her dog if she had one? She is hot as the hells of several religions combined, but if you can't exchange hellos with someone without feeling guilty or that you have to do something for them, MAYBE STAY THE FUCK AWAY. Jesus christ. I need to watch some Deadwood to unwind.

So I just started binge watching Justified, and I surprisingly was pulling for Boyd and Ava.. so anyway as I was googling stuff it kept saying Boyd cheated on Ava, am I missing something? I’ve watched every episode and I haven’t seen him cheat.. Am I missing something?

How many of you guys cheered for and hoped Drew Thompson and Ellan May would get out of Harlan and successfully make it to Mexico. I was kind of disappointed that they failed and that Limehouse screwed them over, but every time I rewatch the series and get to the end of season 4 I'm cheering on Drew praying he'll somehow make a different choice and choose to sleep out in the woods, leave after the cops all go away and not go to Limehouse's.

Who knows maybe in an alternate universe Drew and Ellen May are sipping on margaritas enjoying the beaches of Mexico unknowingly next to Charlie

I’m a huge Walton Goggins fan, and I heard this was a good show so i decided to check it out on a whim. Never expected to get hooked the way I did, & absolutely love this show!

Hulu has a lot of good series so i figured I’d pay the extra to go commercial free, & it was definitely worth it. I binged Justified, then went straight into City Primeval

Absolutely loved both shows. Really loved Timothy Olyphant in this role. Prior to this, the last thing i watched with him was Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix, and back in the day when he was in one of the Scream movies

I did not expect to love the show the way I did! It was completely out of my realm, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. Such a good experience. There’s an old HBO series called Deadwood that I hear he’s in. I’m mulling over if it’s worth checking out

I don't know if this has been covered, but I was watching the Office and Packer laments over his 'move' to Florida and he tells the camera that he is a huge alligator nerd.

So I find it quite funny that David Koechner plays the Floridian US Marshall, who goes out to the Crows lair in alligator land.

I'm looking for the name of the song that starts playing around 26-27 minutes into the episode, when Boyd meets up with Limehouse.

It sounds like an upbeat bluesy slide guitar piece with the singer yelling "shake" repeatedly. Now I can find "Shake That Thing" by Orb Mellon on TuneFind for this episode - which might just be it. But I can't confirm it since that yields no returns on streaming services/YouTube/Google.

Anyone happen to know more?
