Alot of videos I see of cleaning keyboards involve literally plucking out every key to clean them. Now I did do this back in 2020 to clean my keyboard but it was tedious. Is there a chemical / device that'll clean it much quicker? My keyboard is pretty dirty

ive seen some people say that they feel worse to type on, thing is i think id prefer a silent one, and if they do feel worse to type on why? also any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

I looked for keyboards everywhere I could, but I couldn’t find what I wanted, and that’s why this concept came about — one that I don’t know how to bring to reality. I don’t even know where to start, since I don’t know anything about this topic at all, but the desire to have such a keyboard is very strong, just like the desire to make it myself. Sorry if the text of the request turned out poorly; I wrote it using a translator.

My skyloong GK75 backlight's have been blue for the entirety I've had them. I've downloaded the GK6XPlus V8 driver and it doesn't help. No matter what preset/light effect I choose it still stays blue. im sick of blue. I created a new LE file with all green keys, but when using it on my keyboard it just looked like the photo attached. I've turned off windows dynamic lighting too. Can anyone help with this?

What other brands would you point me out to?

I'm looking for a:

• Low-profile, ideally full-size keyboard
• ANSI US layout
• No gimmicks, just a volume knob if anything
• Wired or 2.4Ghz
• Brown or silent switches, reliable

After seeing so many QC complains with both brands, it doesn't make sense to me to gamble it with neither. So I'm asking you, what is your reliable brand of choice so I can keep researching alternatives?

Hey there I was wondering if anyone had any keyboard recommendations that would suit what I'm looking for, I'm on a budget of about $70 AUD.

My current keyboard is the Corsair Vengeance K60 and I would get a new one as this one is perfect but this one is slowly dying on me so I'm gonna have to opt for a cheaper one.

If its possible im looking for a:

● 100% keyboard

● mechanical but "silent"

● a keyboard with audio control i.e skip songs, pause, volume control

● something that will last

● prefer thick wired as a posed too wireless

● colour - pink or any plain colour

● material - metal or hard plastic

● layout - anything similar to the layout of the picture above of the Corsair Vengeance K60

● and preferably prebuilt but I'm happy to learn how to build one

Im aware that these are probably unrealistic considering my budget but If anything pops to mind please let me know.

Haven't been in the scene for awhile, but bought Hyte's Suisei keycap collab a while back and looking to build one to display it. Which kit will fit the color scheme? My budget is $200, no specific preference for sound (as in clack, thock, marbly, etc.), as long as it is clean.

Also which interesting switch has popped up recently? I have a preference for tactile but linear is also good.

Last note: Sorta interested in Hall Effect keebs to varies my builds a bit

I tried my buddy's board recently with brown tactile switches he told me last week and I actually loved that little bump not too loud but you still feel it. I dont want super clicky blue loud stuff because I'm on calls a lot so I don't want to disturb em. Really want something thocky and satisfying, hot-swappable would be amazing so I can try different switches later, maybe 75% or TKL? No idea! So far what interests me are Gateron Milky Yellow, Akko, Cherry MX Browns etc. Budget is around $180, trying to keep it under if possible

Idk the exact sound descriptions in keyboards but it kinda sounds thocky to my ears which I do prefer . I do coding and some casual gaming too. This one got mint mambo switches which are pre lubed too. It does come with 5 layer dampening+gasket+screen+a knob too.

Other option is aula f75 max with reaper switches but that's a bit more expensive where I am.

So I recently bought one for my son, but I’m having a hell of a time getting it to work. Went to their website and downloaded the .exe
Ran it and got into the file, but it isn’t user friendly at all. Certainly not simple for my brain to get activated.
If anyone has any tips I’d greatly appreciate them.

Alright, bear with me, I could be wrong about certain things going on with this keyboard, but I am kind of at a loss here. I got what is supposed to be a Lucky 65v2 keyboard as a gift a while back and it has honestly given me such a headache and I have no idea what has gone wrong. I've switched it into wired mode, the Function key just doesn't exist, as far as keyboard testers go, there is no function key mapped on this keyboard. Even in wired mode, I cannot get it to connect to any program web based or otherwise to remap anything. It works wired and I can swap it into wireless, but I cannot do anything function wise or connect it to anything to map. Please tell me there's an obvious answer I am missing because I am at such a loss.

Ive been trying so hard looking thru forums TRYING to enable Snap Tap for this keyboard, but to no avail. AI told me that Snap Tap is available for this keyboard, i tried enabling thru fn key, doesnt work

The Vial system does not show any setting for Snap Tap, i also flashed the keyboard with its latest software that I got from the Dark Project page, but STILL no luck

Has someone else experienced this issue and please if you have fixed it and found a way to set up Snap Tap on this Terra Nova keyboard, id greatly appreciate any help!

Hello everyone. Looking to get something that can stand my sweaty palms when gaming. My previous keyboard with e-coating (Rainy75) had its paint peeling because of this. Looking to get a keyboard under 200 that has good quality anodized coating. Or even a plastic case. It just need to sound good either creamy or thocky sound. Would appreciate suggestions I can look into. I would prefer black color and size 75.

I have an old 2nd gen iPad pro that I use for drawing, and I'd love to have a keypad for shortcuts. I'm just not sure what keypads (if any) are compatible with it.

I didn't have a lot to spend and these two are pretty cheap and roughly the same price so I can't really decide

I have the Gravastar V60 Pro since end of July and it keeps registering keys without me clicking anything. For example i was playing 20 mins ago and it just kept jumping without me hitting the space bar. It fixes itself after i recalibrate it but it keeps happening over and over again. Is there any known fix for it? a guy on their discord said that it even kept registering after he pulled every switch out the socket.

also looking for a mouse that clicks very easily and is like 45$ or less and no side buttons because I have a bad history of clicking the side buttons every time I’m playing. (I’m coming from a mouse that hurts my hand and finger after clicking for over a minute or like 20 clicks.

Brand new hyperx alloy rise, keys constantly double for no particular reason, especially D and 6 and I have to go back and fix the text.

I've cleaned the keyboard, I checked for firmware updates, I reinstalled ngenuity just in case, I reset memory with FN + Space, nothing seems to work, this is frankly incredibly aggravating and I am extremely tempted to return it and never buy HyperX again, this is legitimately not even 2 months old.

Anyone got a solution for this nonsense or am I better off returning it and buying a different brand?

I don't think a video is necessary because the D and 6 keys chattering/doubling is fairly self explanatory but if necessary I can yoink a clip. It happens extremely often. It's ONLY the D and 6 keys, nothing else.

Hi, I just purchased a custom madlion 68 HE keyboard. The vision was to get the yunzii black half transparent keycaps from their b75 pro max model and transfer the keycaps to the madlion. I’ve reached out to yunzii inquiring if there is a way I can purchase those keycaps without buying the entire keyboard since I don’t need two, and haven’t received a response yet.

Does anyone know if yunzii does that sort of thing or can recommend a different brand that has these keycaps so I can purchase them? Not opposed to the keycaps not being the specific yunzii ones as long as they look the same. I’ve attached pictures of the madlion keyboard id be putting them on, and photos of the yunzii keycaps I’m hunting for as a reference.

Any help or insight would be super appreciated!

Hi guys, my old Corsair K70 broke down after almost 10 years, and I'm looking to buy a new keyboard. Intended for both gaming and general desktop use. After doing some research I'm looking for a keyboard that meets these criteria:

-Full 100 pct size

-Mechanical/ HE / TMR keys, doesn't matter so long as they feel and sound good and have a decent response time (mostly play singleplayer but some shooters as well, nothing ultra competitive)

-RGB provided it can also be turned off (only use this for visibility at night)

-I appreciate custom buttons eg for media controls, at the very least I want a volume slider/knob

-Prebuilt or at least mostly prebuilt

-Wired is fine, wireless option is nice but not important

-Budget up to 200 euro, but lower is better of course

-No Keychron; I don't like their keyboards aesthetically

Seems like 100pct size keyboards aren't that popular nowadays so I can't seem to find a keyboard that meets all of the above requirements. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
