We heard from a lot of the kids we saw on screen a lot, but I wanna know how was the experience for the kids who we barely saw. Natasha, Madison, Eric, Jasmine, Maggie, Gianna, Brett and Sophie, that’s who I’m interested in. How were they to be around? Were they there for the adventure and didn’t care about being on tv? Were they trying to get attention but failed? What did THEY think of the kids that were always on screen?
If they ever talk about their experience in an article, interview, book, podcast etc I’m definitely tuning in.

No judgement cause some of that ish was super hard, but why did they rarely get upper class or merchants? They had a lot of the older kids, they had some VERY smart kids, good leaders, and had a close bond, and yet. Maybe despite being smart they didn't have as many fit, outdoorsy kids as some of the other districts and that's why they didn't do as well in the physical challenges. 'm curious what y'all think.

I'm only halfway through, but she really really doesn't seem to like those guys haha

I showed a friend the entire show. I remembered most of the show, so I got to relive forgotten moments, but also have hindsight. Paid attention to all the characters, arcs, foreshadowing, or setups. No real shade/hate. If you don't agree with any of my rankings, deal with it! 😉

She has a heart of gold, works surprisingly hard, and is just cute as a button.

EDIT 2: I HAVE ADDED x264 ENCODES OF ALL EPISODES IN A MORE REASONABLE FILE SIZE
EDIT:GOOGLE DRIVE COMPRESSES THE QUALITY. YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD IT TO NOTICE THE QUALITY DIFFERENCE.
The rips we all have of Kid Nation look pretty awful. I decided I wanted to fix that.
Unless someone from the show rips and releases their dvd copy, this is the absolute best its going to look.

Here is what is included in the release
Enjoy :)

My top choice would defo be Sophia but I would also love to see in my lifetime Taylor and Tiffany Pollard fighting on House of Villains

I was looking at Kid Nation IMDB and saw Jasmine Robinson did not have Kid Nation listed in cast credits. I know filters and all that but it looks like the right girl. Also, did she have a music career going? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1039921/fullcredits/

Any plans for a reunion with all 40 kids. That would be cool to see.

A few of us from the show were interviewed in this new article.
⚠️TW⚠️ SA, child abuse, neglect, animal cruelty

Sophia has so many moves that show how good she would've been at strategic social games, she was constantly doing things just because she knew how they'd react because of how much she understood people. I fully believe even if its not true that she suggested the huge chicken feast just to see how Taylor and Leila would react and then offer a solution so Greg and Blaine looked worse and she was a problem solver. Something I find hilarious is how people reacted to her. When she was laying on the ground they joined her, then she left and they kept doing it. Obviously they were kids and I don't know if all of these were real/actual strategic moves but you can tell Sophia was incredibly bored in that city 😭. let me know anything I missed. <3

I can't find the comment to respond to. It was Brad Garrett, Sophia Wise, Mike Klinge, Amy Schumer

I also don't really understand the internet but I am trying to get an online following so I can get an agent to publish the book so I can tell you who was hooking up with whom. I mean, like the PG version. We were kids. Don't be gross. https://www.instagram.com/sophiaallgrownup?igsh=MXQ3bmJrNXJ1aHJtOA==

I'm talking about like Kelsey, Alex, Brett, Mike, Campbell and other such.
Im sure some of the kids I'm thinking of (or even in the list) are somewhere out on the internet posting but I'm not gonna go stalking around the internet to hear what they're up to, that's just weird.

I was 4 months old when the show first aired lol so I was wondering how if it was really popular back then and if people spoke about it a lot in school and stuff

Kid Nation community members:
Kennedy here. I wanted to jump on this page and just say a big thank you to all of you who have listened to Sophia and Michael’s podcast episode which featured me that was recently released (linked here from Spotify).
I wanted to tell you all that it means so much from the bottom of my heart to see all of the outpouring of support and love that you’ve shown after I shared my story of SA on Kid Nation. I held in this secret for so long, and I am finally ready to speak my truth. I am so grateful to Sophia and Michael for giving me a platform to do so on their podcast, and I am so grateful this Reddit community has been emphasizing the importance of me speaking out on this.
I want this to be a safe place where you can talk openly and support one another in any way you need. And I want to be here for anyone I can who has went through anything similar. My DM’s are open. I am sending so much love and support to all of you. Thank you again for listening and feel free to share my story and this podcast if you feel like that is something you’re comfortable doing. I want this to reach as many people as possible to give comfort and help to survivors of SA or child abuse to know that they aren’t alone.
I will try my best to respond to comments as they come in if you do have questions. Like I said on the podcast, I’d prefer to not share the name of the individual who was the perpetrator of the incident for legal reasons. And I hope if you listen to the podcast you’ll see why, and understand that to me, that’s not even really even half of the pain and trauma that was caused by this incident.
As many survivors of childhood SA will tell you, these are complicated things that can be extremely difficult to piece together or even understand. There are so many emotions and confused feelings attached for me not only to the incident itself, but the aftermath and the experience I had. I am still unraveling my trauma, so bear with me. Healing isn’t linear, and mine certainly hasn’t been, but that’s okay. Here for all of you who feel that way too ❤️
With love from your pioneer friend, Kennedy
