Respect. You dont see a lot of quartzite or East coast rhyolites being worked by modern knappers.

If only the native people's who lived along the east coast had the privilege of only working higher quality lithics. Great job with this piece

Dude legit that turned out phenomenal! Especially for something so tough looking! That thing has got to be so damn sturdy. I bet it'd take some serious about 😁 Awesome job on it!

Thanks! Started out making a pickwick and ended up with last months point instead. Next time gonna focus on getting more spalls that favor this size point. Trying to keep the contours on such a large piece of unruly stuff was more than I bargained for.

That’s probably about as good of a point as you can get out of a rock like that. I had some similar quartz once and never got a point out of it but I did make a pretty cool blade core.
