this month was a little sad lol work was crazy and then i got surgery. even though i’m on leave right now i haven’t been able to paint my nails as often as i usually do. my nails also started breaking off one by one from all my stress and anxiety so i had to do the big chop 🥲 on the plus side though i think magnetics look really good on this nail length !

idk why it took me so long to try ‘eternal love’. it’s so reactive and glowy. i love the shiftiness too. i want to wear it again already. penelope luz magnetics are on another level !!

September 1st, fall is upon us so time to bust out my fugly autumn shades.

I don’t even know what color this is. Is it orange? Is it brown? Burnt orange? Brown-orange? I really can’t tell but I LOVE it. I honestly don’t think I’ve loved a color this much in my entire life.

Side note: I am obsessed with all the crelly polishes from painted polish. They are all so beautiful and unique. There are an insane amount of cool looking greens I have had to resist…. I only bought 4 😂

(As you know) The gel version is much pinker. And the polish often arrives looking peach.
Opi is so wild with the bubble bath saga. It’s been like this for 10 plus years too.

Has anyone found the pinker color that the gel version turns out to be?

I’m looking at trying Put it in neutral again since I can’t remember it.

I have been wearing boots No7 “bluebell” on my toes for almost a decade…

Down to my last crusty bottle. It’s been discontinued for YEARS but I stockpiled and managed to get a couple bottles on Vinted etc.

After taking the last precious bluebell bottle around shops I found Rimmel “blue breeze” - no one can tell the difference other than me… but it IS different and not quite right. I feel blue breeze is too blue when painted.

Hopefully you all understand my pain. I am looking for a normal nail polish (not needing gel lamp) that is ideally identical to bluebell…. Have included pics of bluebell available online and pics of bluebell vs blue breeze IRL

I have a cart full of ILNP polishes. They look so pretty in swatches but I have always felt underwhelmed with my order. This would be my third order.

Is it just me? Do their polishes just suck, or is their target audience white women? I know I’ll get downvoted for saying this but I truly feel so underrepresented when it comes to nail companies, especially indie ones and especially ILNP. There is ONE tan and ONE deep model, and only sometimes (there are two fair models). I don’t want to work so hard to imagine what the color will look like on me. Used to love buying indie polishes but lately just feel so blah about supporting these smaller companies because I keep wasting my money on colors that only look cute on white skin. Maybe yall can help me come to a verdict.

Hi everyone! I’ve always loved painting my nails but am switching back to regular polish from years of gel. I’ve been using dazzle dry and I like it for the most part but it dries almost too fast and I can’t play around with any designs. I’d like some recommendations for a base and top coat so I can branch out a little. I was seeing good things about the vibrant scents but mixed feelings on the PVB(?) ingredient found in some base coats. Part of why I’m ditching gel was the UV and recently banned ingredient so I’m trying to keep my nails healthy. I work with my hands all day so chip resistance is important too. Thank you all for the help in advance!

I picked up a 100 polish sale on Facebook and discovered this absolutely gorgeous Green from China Glaze. I a quick Google search says this originally was released around 2005. I’d love to find another bottle or possible dupe.

I’ve always loved having my nails done and I’m trying to work on more self care on spending time on myself, so I started regularly getting them done again.

I also treated myself to some new polish- I’ve collected these for the last 20+ years in case of discons or formula changes. I have the original Lincoln Park After Dark.

Stepping away from my usual pinks and blues to match my nails to a black dress I’ll be wearing to a friend’s wedding. (I feel like I’m trying to cosplay as a “goth baddie” lol but the dress is so pretty I had to go with it!)

I never do yellows but I found a few that were really pretty and bought them. This is one of them. Broken Pixel Polish What The Funyun? Someone told me it looks sunflower yellow and I prefer that over thinking funyun lol

Back with one of my favorites; a simple silver polish✨ finally grew my nails out again and what better way to celebrate the length with this gorgeous silver polish? 🥰🎀I STILL cannot believe I found this polish at Dollar Tree of all places 😍I do have a couple nail patches on underneath the polish as there was a crack and a split; cross your fingers I'll at least get to have long pretty nails for Samhain (Halloween) 🌙🔮🌠🎃

I was trying to pull up a color on Clionadh’s website and I can’t see any polish. The nail tools are still listed and eye shadow is available but no polish. Did I miss something?

trying out some cheap fake pointy nails before committing. painted over with hot topic polish not the best job. I have been getting square nails for the past 8 months never anything else. so far they look cool. they seem shorter though then my gel-x

This and bubble bath are usually what I go for!
What do you think would look good with my skin tone??
