Finally!!

While this IS my favorite song by her and it’s easy for someone to say their favorite song is the artist’s best…

As objective as I can be, I think it is the most complete song she’s ever made. The lyricism is so poetic in the way she uses imagery and rhyming; it’s at its finest here. The message is so raw and personal and vulnerable, it feels like a wholehearted confession from someone at a really low point. No song has epitomized “pouring your heart out” for me quite like this one. This utter passion resonates through her voice and the song’s composition. The deep and raw emotion is felt without screaming like we see in ‘Dealer’. The piano is simple but the layering of it with her vocals and the synth is so melodic and incredible. And finally, I just can’t get enough of the ending and the distorted bass notes. Everything is so powerful and intentional and conveys the song’s emotional theme so beautifully and flawlessly

for me, im just not a big fan of Radio. Probably my least fave off BTD along with Lucky Ones, and im also not a fan of American or Lust for Life.

and then one i see get SO much hate is Yayo, when i LOVE YAYO! imma be honest the paradise version isnt the best, but the aka version is peak, and even better, the rehearsal/live version with the rich whores is perfect.

The rollout for this album(s) has been looooong, but I feel like it’s more strategic than is being discussed. I’m sure there have been changes in artistic direction (which I totally relate to and appreciate), but I also think she is taking the time to create a vibe that shows her life within confines of marital bliss and domesticity (within the cinematic world of LDR, of course).

Anyone else catch the LDR clue in the game tonight?

Missing AKA and Sirens (which maybe I'll do in the future!) these took me ages, but I hope you guys enjoy. It was fun tapping into each album again and what imagery it brought to mind.

So I checked the Violet Bent podcast and almost all the poems have been taken off. What happened?

There are many songs that I prefer the demo of, or have no true preference for the studio or demo. I love the demo of Thunder and I’m more likely to listen to it; Pink Champagne and LMLYLAW are equal in my eyes. There are some that I have a heavy preference for the studio version though, like shades of cool. Anyone else?
