Help!! Help please

Could someone please help identify exactly which palm tree is dead? My HOA says one dead palm needs to be removed, but I’m currently out of state and the property is rented. I’d like to confirm the correct tree before hiring someone so I’m not overcharged or told that additional trees need removal.

wish i could help but that photo doesn't show me which palm they're talking about, looks like just one tree in the shot

maybe have your tenant snap a pic with an arrow pointing at the one the HOA flagged, or ask the HOA to send over a marked up photo, most property managers will do that if you ask

Ok I asked googled and it said it was the tall one so you know how much it would cost to remove and replant they said the palm tree needs to be at least 7ft

The one in the front looks to have radiation damage on its trunk (near the top) and will likely die, after first becoming floppy and drooping over for a while. I'd still push back though. That's obnoxious of them. It ain't even close to dead yet.

Tall one in the front is a very healthy, alive Veitchia.

At rear left is the dead one.
