parking

hi! i was just wondering what the parking situation is for langara, is it really hard to find parking like sfu?

I don't think so. But I don't recommend you park in the residents only area around there (street parking) because you most likely will get a ticket. If you park closer to the YMCA there's usually more empty spaces. But do give yourself some time. I have no idea to compare it to SFU

There is also underground parking under the library.

Certain times get busy so the only parking available is underground P2… but evening classes are super chill there’s lots of spots

If you have a class at 4 PM or later, you should be fine it gets a lot better after 4pm. Fall semester is definitely the worst for parking, especially between 9 AM–2 PM from my personal experience. Campus is usually more packed on Tuesdays and Thursdays compared to Wednesdays and Fridays, while Mondays are kind of 50/50. If you’re planning to park on campus, I recommend parking near the Library or T Building. The Library underground parking is also good as well. I’d avoid parking near B and A building. sometimes it’s full outside but i park underground usually! less busy and depending on what day/time my classes are, i just go to the 2nd or 3rd floor of underground parking cause it’s usually not busy :) however i will say between 10-2 it’s busiest, at least that’s what i’ve noticed.
