I'm Czech and I know English as a foreign language, but as a high school student I need to learn a second foreign language.

I have to choose between Russian and German and I need to choose the language that is easier to learn because I really need to finish my studies and honestly I'm struggling with learning in general and thus make it at least a little easier for me in languages🥹

hey, i am curious what your counterargument to my showerthought would be. at first shower, it seems to increase efficiency reduce costs and ambiguity, still i will give it a second thought at the next shower.

ofcourse we dont terminate the irrelevant bunch of people who still stick to those languages and speak them, but we can use other strategies that lead to the extinction of those habala hubala languages. like we can ignore them, exclude them from global internet platforms, or immigrate their families to our countries and teach their kids only our language so the next generation forgets the other language etc.

im writing an analysis for eng lang, and wondered if there is a way to describe using we in this context.

'I see we're lacking common sense'

with 'we' referring to a group of other who are the ones lacking common sense. it is said by someone who is criticising them for lacking common sense but says 'we' , even though theyre not including themselves as lacking common sense.

it reminds me of how a teacher might refer to a class. eg. 'are we going to behave now?' , although the teacher is not misbehaving but rather the students misbehaving are the 'we'.

i hope i worded it well enough to understand.
