My acer aspire 5 A515-44 has its hinge broken and this brass threaded insert came out with a few tiny plastic how do i fix it

I was going to say just buy another it’s probably $200 but wow that’s an incredibly expensive laptop for the specs. No GPU and only 2.7mhz of processing power for $800.

You can get a gaming laptop for that
The Acer nitros and especially used you can do even better.
It’s crazy what people pay for a browsing laptop

The only option there is to change the lid assembly entirely. Unfortunately, these cheap laptops are designed to fail, and the parts+work are expensive enough to make fixing unreasonable and make you go buy a new laptop
