Dual language program uisd

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some feedback from parents who have experience with the dual-language program at Elementary in UISD, especially for Kinder.
My son will be starting Kinder, and we’re considering enrolling him in the dual-language program. Spanish is the main language we speak at home, so I’m wondering how the program has worked for other families in a similar situation
Any honest feedback positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I was part of the UISD ESL program, albeit more than 20 years ago. It worked for me. I remember we would rotate between two classrooms throughout the day. One was taught in Spanish and the other in English. I didn't understand much at first, but the exposure to English over time really helped. They would test us throughout the school year to see how much we had improved. I still have my ESL school records with the results.
