Tech Tech refresh - wow!

Our building is going through a tech refresh and we experienced part of it today. New tvs (matching) that have a Church portal and easy connections (airplay/casting). Previously none of the tv's matchec so every time you had to setup it was a different process.

I know, I know. But it was a pleasant surprise. Just saying.

@mods - maybe there could be a tech flair?

Our stake is going through another one of these in the coming weeks and I'm curious to see it too.

We just got new TVs too! Are you in my ward? Or is this a broader church thing? 😆

I am guessing it's a broader Church thing based on the portal that comes up on the tv and the server/tech cabinet they put in the library.

I've been to multiple buildings in various stakes in my area (including my own) that has implemented the new TVs. It seems that they are mainly being put in Relief Society rooms and rooms used for Seminary classes.

So far in our building they have been put in primary, Relief Society, Young Women's rooms and Bishop's offices.

Imagine having televisions... we have a projector screen on the side wall of the chapel and a single projector.

Our building has new TVs too. They have the church chime too when they come on… it’s semi-loud so have the mute button on the remote ready :)

my church building (which is also an institute building) just got those tvs as well, we also got the ability to connect our phones to the speakers in the gym and cultural hall.

That is awesome! They are only about halfway through our update so it will be interesting to see what features they add. Course I could also see where only institute buildings might get that.
