Discussion Whose autograph is this?

Found it in a collection.
Any help is appreciated

Either this person didn’t play for the leafs or inadvertently signed with the wrong #

#5 has been long retired by the organization to honour Bill Barilko.

This one almost looks like a sloppy Dennis Potvin autograph.

Looks more like #6 to me, which is equally confusing.

Only Bailey and Ellis wore 6 and this definitely neither of them.

It's quite blurry, so it's hard to say.

It could be Garth Butcher? He played the majority of his career wearing #5 with Vancouver and St. Louis.

He was in the Sundin for Clark trade, so he played 45 games for the Leafs in 1994-1995, his last NHL season, wearing # 2.

Maybe he signed that puck later, but he doesn't keep track of what number he played for the Leafs, only that he wore #5 for most of his career?

I think you might be right. The G the B and the 5 are nearly identical to his autograph.
