help regarding java

my college course teaches dsa using java and idk shit about java, ik c++ so should i learn dsa w java or c++ i am really confused in lectures i feel completely lost when the professors write code in java i tried watching some videos but they all feel very scattered. What should i do?

Java borrows its syntax from C++, so if you learn C++ first, it's pretty easy to pick up Java.

Can you give an example C++ program that you feel like you understand? Its hard to say without more info what exactly would help

well i can understand all standard basic programs palindrome printing * patterns fibonacci arrays etc etc

I meant an actual example - I was going to translate whatever you send 1-1 into Java to see where you start to get lost.

well, we were assigned classes already we didnt have options, and no we didnt even know our classes 4 days before college resumed
