Discussion/แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็น Is high-level business Thai realistic, or is there a ceiling for non-native speakers?
I see plenty of expats mastering daily conversational Thai, but I’m really struggling to take it to the professional level.
My goal is to use Thai for work and deliver business presentations confidently, but right now, it feels clunky and unnatural. I know most of the necessary domain vocabulary, but because I’m not using these formal terms in daily conversation, putting sentences together on the fly feels like a massive hurdle.
Has anyone here successfully made the jump from conversational to high-level business Thai? What specific strategies, routines, or resources helped you speak naturally during presentations?
