Whataburger
Is the one on Douglas the slowest or are all of them slow? It took 25 minutes from the time I placed my order to get my food. All I ordered was two kid meals and a burger. Two cars behind me got their orders before me and the one right behind me left without getting their food I think. They always seem so slow, so I am just curious if it’s just that one or all of them.

And they NEVER acknowledge how long you just waited for your food. I’ve been there four times since they opened and it’s never been quick, but last weekend was unbelievably slow. Not sure how long they will be around.

Yes, the worker acted annoyed that I got out of my car and walked inside to check on my order… I wasn’t even rude about it either.

I ordered online pickup thinking I order it ahead of time and it’ll be ready when I got there in about 20 minutes. It appeared they did not start the order until I got there. Very confusing practice.

I once pulled up for breakfast, not a single other car in the drive thru. Took 15 minutes to get my biscuit and coffee.
Never again.

Before they really expanded, the quality was so great, I loved eating there in Dallas. I liked them better than Shake Shack or any of the other “higher-quality” fast food places but somehow literally everything in the food service world has gone to shit since Covid

It seems to be the worst but they are all terrible. One time I had to wait almost 40 minutes for French fries and a milkshake that I had pre ordered on the app

Whataburger in our area sucks…. If you want Whataburger wait until you’re in Texas.

It’s the Douglas location. I’ve never had an issue with the one on 150 Hwy by Raintree. I also order ahead on the app to help with wait times.

Ours at 47th & Sterling seems to have decent wait times. And when I order ahead, its always ready when they say.

Came from texas and i was stoked that they had started whataburgers here and built one in OP not that long ago and it was pretty much the same bad experience at first when they first opened up.
Not sure what the reasons are, but I'll take whataburger over in n out, Freddy's or culvers any day.

The fries and burgers are the best you can get at a fast food joint. Freddy's is the burger goat. Only competition they have is steak n shake, but those barely exist.

I can never get my food there in under 30 minutes. I have ordered in the app and it’s still taken forever. They never apologize and after 4 years don’t try to change it so I stopped going six months ago. We didn’t go often and now we avoid it

Local food in Lees Summit is not that affordable, and we don’t really have a lot of options sadly.
