* Has already passed House
* Senate will vote on in -Sept

NDAA 2027 - Section 219
* Appoint an Executive Agent to coordinate military cooperation between the U.S. and Israel
* Joint research and development, shared production of weapons, linking military systems and data
* This will give Israel leverage over the U.S.'s own defence priorities
* We will no longer be providing "aid", Israel will be apart of the Dod Budget

My unit was weird for the Marine Corps, we had a lot of short notice short duration deployments. Ie we’d be called and they’d say “you’re leaving tomorrow for a week.” Could actually be up to 3 weeks depending on conditions. Did 21 of those deployments

I miss that. I miss the emergency response stuff. I miss the danger. I miss contributing to the world.

Buttt I’m also transgender. I feel like a lot of survival and rescue organizations skew heavily conservative. So if you have any experience giving your time to Red Cross, I’d like to know what the culture is like
