My take on merging two small LEGO 3-1 sweet surprise sets into one large confection store. I also added a cheap set of dollar tree string lights that came out really well.

Does anybody have any good ideas for head swaps on the Lego minifigures that come with detectives office?

Lego Collectible Minifigures

Hello guys. I want to buy a present for my boyfriend. He has so many lego pieces and he builds his own things out of them, without using guides. The other day he said he wants to build a scene about medieval knight tournaments. I searched for some medieval knight figures online, but there are so many of them. I would love your help on choosing the best, the coolest and the most worthy of them!

Some of the figures I checked so far:

First

Second

Feel free to give me some opinions :)

I added an extra level to my Brick Bank and now it’s as grand as I figure it always thought itself to be 🤣

The staff now have a kitchenette and break room… and I switched the fireplace to the other side which had the unintended but very welcome consequence of being able to see the flickering firelight out the window.

This was my first time attempting anothing like this (& using Bricklink for anything this size). Adapted kitchen and bookshelf from an unrelated mod on Rebrickable. I honestly think if the Bank had been released recently, in the era of 3000-4000 piece modulars, that it might have come with another floor,

Brick bank vs Modular Construction site

Not taking cost into consideration, which do you think is a better build or must have - Brink Bank or the Bricklink Construction Site? Not looking at it as an investment either - the set would be built.

Rebrickable: How to find MOCs using pieces from all my sets?

In Rebrickable, I have multiple set lists, and have one list of four sets checked YES to include in builds.

When I use the "Build Search" function to search for builds/MOCs I can do with all my bricks from those four sets, I get 500 results but of those only 28 builds come up where I have 100% of the parts needed. However, if I individually go to those four sets and look up MOCs/alternate build options, there 384 total MOCs plus the standard Lego build instructions. Why is the "Build Search" not also including all of these builds? I have easily built dozens of user submitted MOCs for those sets, so I very well know I am not missing the pieces they require. Shouldn't the "Build Search" include every MOC for every set I own, plus extra where I have enough pieces combined between multiple sets.

Combining the lego modulars with some of my own moc’s such as the L railway, the warehouse used for some shady activities and the little music festival. Tudor corner is the next thing to be added after i complete the build.

Lot more room to expand. Next thing on the wishlist are to complete the train yard by adding the woodbrick freight depot (BDP) and adding the firehouse (BDP) when it’s released.

Showing off my Lego mini-city

Hey guys 👋

The other day, I came across some Lego sets from my childhood. I’ve always wanted to build a city, and using all the pieces I had, I managed to create this mini-city. I think it turned out beautifully—it’s a childhood dream come true. I hope this city can grow someday; after all, everything has a beginning. I hope you like it.

Moving my City

Here's a video I made a few months ago of my move from another part of the office to the conference room. It meant breaking up my City a bit and now I have my nonLego (Lumibricks mostly) in another section. I still have to clean up some things and I'm installing a train to the front of this section soon.
The video shows the transition and the (mostly) final set-up.
And yes, there is UV protection on the windows!

My first MOC: The Savage Pub | 13,350 pieces, 4 fully detailed floors

Four months of work went into this beast😅

A full detailed Victorian-style live music pub with two bars, a concert stage, billiard room, kitchen, backstage area and removable floors.

Built primarily with GoBricks and LEGO® elements, as well as a few custom chrome/printed elements where needed.

Would love to hear what my fellow modular builders think!

LEGO Modular Site

Hey again Modular community.

Let me preface with: I know LEGO is likely to reach out re: branding. I will cross that bridge when it gets here.

But I am a huge Modular fan! And I found that information on the Modulars was scattered across the internet. So I wanted to bring it all together in an unofficial 'Home of the LEGO Modular'.

So I built legomodulars.com

It brings together:
- A street visualiser with width AND height AND weight (and ability to add MILS) to help plan shelving (I know there some incredible other tools for this online too),
- Statistics tables
- Studio files for as many as I could find,
- Information about the designers,
- The ability to find out which the best modular actually is, and
- A MILS tool for buying parts from Pick-a-Brick.

And the ability to have MOC Modulars added from fan designers too!

Any and all feedback is more than welcome, and I hope it can help lots of other Modular fans find what they want to find.
