Economics, Ninth Edition — R. Glenn Hubbard and Anthony Patrick O’Brien (2024), Pearson, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
Does anybody have the 9th, 8th or 7th edition of this book? 🙏🙏

Hello, my daughter recently started school here. Could someone please advise me on which areas or places to avoid for safety concerns or that might be unsafe?

I am a freshman and I found no traces of RGs anywhere so I'm kinda wondering :v
I'm just wondering if RGs are even popular here...
Hopefully if there are enough people we can make a group chat a Discord server or something

Looking fora meaningful (campus approved)) gif for a freshman male. Something beyond standard college swag of gift card. Any recent grads with ideas? What meant (or would have meant) something to you a student at Lehigh?
— EDIT —-
Appreciate responses. To clarify, asking about considerations specific to Lehigh, vs say input for any freshman at any location.

Im a freshman at Lehigh. The school is nice has alot of good facilities and a very big campus however I come from a predominantly black city and coming to Lehigh has been a very big culture shock for me. The amount of caucasian students compared to other races is pretty jarring and my experience only 3 days into the school reflects that. Yesterday while on my way to the soccer game I was on the bus and there was an open seat next to me while the bus was packed two other girls were standing and her friend asked her to sit down she FIRMLY said no as if I has some radioactive disease emanating off of me. It made me feel as if I was less human and practically ruined my night however I won't let that one instance define my school experience and I hope to have more pleasant experiences as time goes on.

I am a CAS student hoping to enroll in Management 043: Organizational Behavior, but I am not yet able to join the waitlist because I still need my advisor’s approval to enroll in a College of Business course. Nearly all of the sections are full, and the two sections that still have availability each have only one spot remaining and neither of those time slots works well with my schedule.
If I attend the first day of a class section that works for my schedule, is it possible that the professor would be able to let me enroll in his section even if the class is full?

Hey, this is Amircus. First time poster, long time user. I was wondering what goes on at the fraternities at Lehigh University. I've heard ruminations about get togethers but haven't gotten a single invite. Do you think it's my outfit? Are full suits in silly colors appropriate? Is it my red umbrella? Is it my hairline? I'm trying to get into touse. Please let me know.

Hey, I'm currently a freshman at Villanova University at the business school. I guess I made this decision late (obviously), but I know I want to do engineering. I already plan to transfer to the engineering school here, but I want to know the logistics of transferring spring semester to Lehigh. I plan on keeping my GPA least above 3.6-3.8 and ideally 3.9-4.0. Also, is it better to apply fall, or can you apply both spring and fall?
I know they take into high school stats, so here they are:
SAT: 1490, 700 reading, 790 math
GPA: 99.4 or 4.0
APs taken and their scores: AP Calc BC: 4, AP Physics 1: 4, AP Physics 2: 3, AP Statistics: 4, AP French and Spanish: 4, AP Pre-Calc: 5, AP Chem: 4, AP Comp Sci Java: 4
I have ECs but idk how much they matter now.

How bad of an idea is this? I’m gonna be a first year so idrk how move in works, will I be fine if it’s js in my bags? Are gryphons gonna be checking my bags in any way? Once it’s in my dorm, is there any significant risk if I js keep it in a bag?

Incoming freshmen! I wasn't sure if most of the classes here have moved to online only and I currently already have a box of school supplies that I've stocked up like 11 years ago so I was curious if I should bring a few folders and notebooks over. Also, I've removed that learning unlimited thing so I was curious on how many textbooks and softwares freshmen actually use and when do we go buy them. (Computer Engineering undeclared major but my schedule currently follows the recommended schedule for computer engineers!)

hi! i’m attending lehigh university in the fall as a freshman, and i’ve seen a few posts here as well as heard from others that the area around campus/south Bethlehem is considered a “rough” area? i don’t notice that when i was visiting, granted i stayed by the historic street for most of my time, but since my dorm is off campus (abt a 10 minute walk) i wanted to get an honest opinion on the area around it? (im from oakland, and it gets a pretty bad rep as well, so if i could get a scale from like oakland to martha’s vineyard or something i’d appreciate it 😭)

curious abt how much of the student body is involved in greek life and also how much it feels like? Is it incredibly overwhelming? And will you not able to have a social life if you are not involved?
Also are there paid welcome week events for Lehigh incoming freshman?

We're a small retail store in the beauty/fragrance industry looking to hire a part time employee.
Need to have some availability to work during the week 11-5 or 12-6.
The pay is $13-$15/hr depending on experience.
You will get downtime to chill or study.

I’m planning to apply to Lehigh next year and I know they like demonstrated interest, how do I show that. I want to apply engineering or accounting, but I’m stuck between doing ed for Lehigh or Boston college
Stats: upcoming junior with a unweighted current gpa of 3.83, weighted current of 4.33 and cumulative of 4.28. I’m vp of finance for DECA, and in future engineers. This year I plan to volunteer a lot and join community service corp (and possibly robotics club) + get a job.
