"Live" HTLC Stream for Authenticity

It’s a live view (time delay, obfuscation, generalization) of Authenticity’s HTLC flow.

Thought I’d share as I think it’s cool and useless, and people might want a view into how active Lightning is.

This is kinda cool. So yellow is an HTLC passing your node successfully but not (yet) cashed? And green is the cashing of a forwarded HTLC? What is purple? You getting paid? So basically a rebalance?

Settled means the HTLC has completed
Yellow means it's in progress (and could go to Green or Red)
Purple is people sending me money - doesn't really happen unless I make an Amboss Magma sale.
I'm not showing rebalances on this at the moment

I see. So a yellow will later replay as either red or green depending on the outcome? It fascinating to watch, I sat there for like 10 minutes just watching. I wonder what other ways of visualizing node traffic there are. I may try some things myself now that I've seen this.

You're welcome! This is my first attempt at visualizing what happens under the hood, and I'm happy to present more data if I can do it safely, securely, cheaply, and anonymously. For instance, this HTLC Viz project cost me about 6 hours and $2/mo so it was a nice cheap fun task.
