The GPL is also simple:

Use the code.

Change the code.

Build whatever you want.

Publish the code under the same license.

And that last line is exactly the difference.

GPL force you to share code

BSD let u do whatever the hell you want

Both have their place, but BSD trusts developers instead of forcing a specific outcome. Freedom includes the freedom to choose

"Freedom includes the freedom to choose." That's right. The dev is free to choose to use any license they want and other devs are free to not use copy-left licenses. Using GPL also includes that their free code remains free forever (which is a big part of freedom).

Does freedom not include the right of the open source developers to ensure that corpos don't copy their code to make closed source forks of it?

Nobody is forcing you to pick the GPL. Use a BSD license if you're fine with people making closed source stuff outta your projects. Obviously not everyone is okay with that, and they have the freedom to use a GPL license in their own projects.

Freedom means having options, for developers of making everyone follow the same fucking way of thinking. It's the companies doing things that should be blamed not the people who create the software

Yes, the GPL is good for users, but not necessarily developers. That's pretty much the whole point of it.

Software that is only good for developers is... well, missing the point.
