Meganoob BE KIND Just had my first issue.
I shutdown and went to work, came home and got a screen about a root locked or not found and nothing I did would fix it. Looked at all the forums I could find and they said to just try again. I tried AI and it told me about repair commands and grub or press e on boot menu and nothing would work.
Back to square 1.

Are you able to post a screenshot of the locked screen

It was apparently due to me formatting a drive I had auto mounted? At least according to a video. But it was pretty much recovery or emergency mode.

I didn't understand what you mean but give us a screenshot so we can help.

I don't have a picture. It was a black screen that said that root is locked
I was told it was "The screen shows an emergency mode error on Linux because a file system issue or bad configuration prevents normal startup."
