answered! Help with finding a really old, linux-only game/tech demo from possibly over a decade ago?

Ages and ages ago i remember seeing a very interesting tech demo, which demonstrated some weird morphing effect. I remember the "game" had a lot of hallways and it seemed like everything was textured in coloured static noise, and if you activated something or pressed a button youd be in a different location but it looked like nothing moved like your previous view was mapped onto the geometry of the new one? think of a "datamoshing" kind of effect idk

I don't remember the details at all, but i saw this a long time ago and i was dissapointed to see it was linux only. I realize, i now use linux! But i have no idea what that even was, or why i was so interested in it. That might be it, I don't know.

I remember the videos of it being very low quality, it may be nearing 20 years old instead of 10, but my memory isn't great, it might even be less than 10 years.

Was it the one from the Michael Jackson movie - Black or White? Or am I going too far?
