Debian 13 KDE, and flatpaks for modern software. I use it for work, editing videos and gaming. KDE is the best desktop with the most comfortable apps for a modern user. If you want to install the deb package offline with the USB ISO DVD, just insert it and enable offline repository in discover app center. I can enjoy both stability and modern setup without compromises, and flatpaks don't interfere with the apt libraries, so it's even better for future full upgrades. Thanks to Debian I can comfortably work even offline and with blackouts. Since I travel a lot and I have to adapt to particular situations, Debian is my universal tank, working everywhere.

Arch and Debian remains the best for ultimate freedom, fedora is the corporate distro for innovation, Ubuntu is the windows of Linux.

I guess I'm rated F as I have predominently used Linux Mint for the last 15 to 20 years.

With a side back then of Ubuntu Studio (when I had time to record music with audacity), Debian (when I was tinkering with these PPC imacs) and Q4OS with Trinity (make Lenovo potatoes with A6 soc and 4 gb of soldered RAM into decent workstations).
