Volume Issue-Keeps resetting back to 46%

I did a fresh install of Linux Mint. My master volume remains permanently stuck at 46%. Whenever I try to set it a different volume, it will briefly be at the selected level and then immediately revert back to 46%. It does this no matter what method I use to change the volume, whether it be through the actual volume bar itself or through a command.

Any idea what might be going on?

I had something happening to my right click button where it is constantly reset to work as the left button, no matter if I made an script that would set it correctly at starting. It resulted being a configuration even deeper than that. Something about kernel? Idk a shit about computers, but if I find what I did in that case, it may help to your volume issue (at least until someone who knows provides an actual answer)

use alsa mixer command with pavucontrol
