Should I change to Linux mint?

I want the most performance I can get on my PC with 3060 ti 48gb ram and i5 9600kf.

Should I really change or not worth it?

If you're already using another linux distro, the performance will be almost the same m. If you're using windows, make sure every app/game you use is available on Linux or an alternative exists. For non-gaming stuffs the performance gain is large. For gaming, it depends on the game, Minecraft gets a huge performance bonus for example but some games run way worse. For steam games you can check protondb, if it's gold or platine it should be alright, if it's lower probably not. In any cases I'd recommend dual booting until you made your decision.

Mostly Minecraft, cs2 and some times Fortnite

While I very much agree with your statement, IF one subscribes to MS Cloud Gaming, it is possible to play fortnight in Linux. Why pay to play a free game? No idea. But it’s there. I have an MS account (without a subscription) and I tried it months ago. At the time I think one was limited to one hour of Fortnight per day for free.

I hate it when I see people mention Fortnite not because I have any issues with them playing Fortnite but because it is a pretty common thing holding people back from Linux which I wish more people tried out but ofc if your software doesn't work you won't switch to Linux especially with a game like Fortnite the with no alternatives

Minecraft and cs2 work well tho, you will have performance gains on these 2. Also if you do mainly gaminin I'd recommend cachyOS instead of mint. If you do other tasks, mint is great tho.

Asking..should I use Mint in a Reddit's forum used by Mint's user....what can you expect ?

Plenty of stuff in Mint or any linux distribution can not do..a lot of games, not good handling of Microsoft documents (NO Libre Office do not cut the mustard), missing drivers for mouse(s), trackpad(s)..no HDR

Using linux and any kind of Unixes for more than 25 years and Microsoft is king...on top you 3060 ti is not always working well...thanks to Nvidia

Install or buy Windows 11 Pro it will be a smart move.

Mint is not a gaming distro. No wayland. No fast driver (kernal) roll outs. I would compare Mint to Windows7.

Not if you expect modern desktop features like hdr.

Use a modern distro instead, then you get everything.

You're ignorant. New does not mean better. It means new.

You need start reading the change logs. Bug doesn't equal security hazard. Most bugs don't affect mist users. It makes no sense from a performance standpoint to install a new version of a package that has bug fixes that never affected your use of the application. Or includes new features of "added language suppor" for a language you do not even speak.

Any of the ones that gives you new packages. Mint only stands out by being the oldest these days.

Mint not the oldest by any stretch of the imagination. Many stable distributions, especially those based on Debian have older packages.
