Congrats, man!

I just realized I forgot when I switched. The year when Ubuntu offered to "Sendit" - to mail free CDs. Plus I think a year of toying the Idea of installing Hoary Hedgehog - 2006 - and never left. I Just switched to Linuxmint one day on the way.

Holy cow! I have been a Linux user for twenty years!!

That's bloody amazing, well done. I'm just 2 months on Mint and about 9 months on CachyOS. I got me some catching up to do.

I'm a few months in CachyOS as well as LMDE 7, both are great and I love both inwhat they do for me.

I started in (I think) 2002 — maybe 2003. I used to have a bunch of those Ubuntu CDs. I’m not sure people realize how much Ubuntu did to break Linux into the desktop market — it was a huge deal.

  1. Open Extensions
  2. Click the "Downloads" tab
  3. Install one of the blurring extensions
  4. Click the "Manage" tab
  5. Click the installed extension
  6. Click the "+" button to activate the selected extension
  7. Click the circle "i" to change its settings

Yeah, it's an annoying, odd process, but you get used to it, I suppose. Enjoy!

Nice! I discovered Linux Mint 4 months ago, I deleted windows shortly after and I wish I realized sooner that Linux exists and how amazing it is!
