EOS Utility Alternative?

I have a canon t6 camera and there's an EOS Utility app available for windows and mac that lets you remotely control your camera. Its really nice when you need to film yourself doing something because you don't need to go back and forth between your position and the camera as much, but is there a way to do this without leaving linux?

There is the gphoto2 library and utilities. It supports the T6.
