Prey was a video game from 2006 built on the Doom 3 Engine. It followed Tommy, a Native American that gets abducted by Aliens. It is genuinely a great game I wish got more recognition today. Wall walking, portals, a bunch of AWESOME gameplay. So what do you do when you have a banger of a game? You make a sequel. Prey 2 would've followed another survivor who was abducted in the first game, a US Air Marshall named Killian. He loses his memory, ends up becoming a Bounty Hunter on an Alien planet. Utilizing Parkour and a plethora of gadgets, there would be bounty hunting on the side, choices that would shape how the other gangs around you would've perceived you along with a great story of regaining your memory.
Production was reported to have started near August of 2006, so not so long after the first had been released. It originally would've just followed the first game and Tommy, but was ended up reworked.
Here's what we know. All of this information is taken from Wikipedia among other sources. I have paraphrased it as best as I can.
June 2007, Scott Miller founded Radar Group which was basically a development team to help in the production of games. This was still the Tommy Sequel Era, not what I am curious about.
June 2009, 3D Realms transferred the trademark to Radar Group, who then transferred the rights to ZeniMax Media.
Bethesda then re-announced Prey 2 in March 2011 for a 2012 release with Human Head Studios as the developer. (This is the version I am wondering about)
Then after 2013, it begins to shift hands from Arkane, and eventually just being released as 2017's Prey.
From what I can tell, the only footage we have seen is from the Human Head Studios build of the Bounty Hunter concept.
There exists an award winning build of the game shown off to press along with more media being leaked here and there, as recently as 11 months ago.

While it may be an alpha version, I still feel that there, somewhere, exists a build of the game just chilling on a dev console, or a hard drive buried deep in someone's repository. And if you go through what the Devs at Human Head have said and comments upon comments on videos, there is definitely a demand for this. And I also feel that what has happened with the leaked Duke Nukem Forever build, there may be at least a tiny bit of hope.
TL;DR Prey 2 Human Head Studios build from 2011. Does it even exist?
