Before I start, I want to say I fully understand that the answer may be as simple as "Spec Blue," but I'm really hoping it's not, because that's boring.

I'm back in the Moors on my Warden, gone since level 85. In a group I feel like my damage is fine. Able to consistently burn down WLs and Reaver. Brand new 160, loaded out with Delving Moors armour and t2 jewelry, 17 Audacity, fully upgraded LIs, all essences applied. However, despite mostly stacking mitigations, I feel like I die very immediately when 1v1ing or 2v1ing Creeps. Tac mit at 44% and I can barely get off 200k damage before they burn through my 750k.

As alluded to, I don't Spec Blue, which I realize is playing a big part, but I don't want to have to give up my proverbial teeth just to survive an encounter without a pocket healer. Also my virtues are pretty shit (all about 45) but I can't believe that's the difference between being able to fight a good 2v1 and losing a 1v1 to a rank 4 spider.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts. Let me know what I'm doing wrong. Tell me I just need to Git Gud. Your opinion counts double if you also play Warden.

Hello guys, I am still a pretty new player here, only started about 2 weeks ago but so far I have mainly played a guardian. I love it and I’m a tank main any game I play, live for it haha. But I’m looking into playing another class to give a shot for a while. I only play solo and I’m here more for the journey than getting to end game super fast but a real DPS class seems fun, what should I give a shot for the leveling adventure other than Hunter/champion? Im looking for some advices. I've created a runekeeper and used a valar boost to 130. Afterwards I've leveled him up to 160 and started to equip him, mostly with teal delving and adventure gear around ilvl 563. Traceries are teal aswell, 3/5 Virtues maxed out.

Yet, when I join groups, my morale feels incredible low (unbuffed around 380k) compared to my teammates. Often Im like 50k morale behind other runekeepers, which dont wear any better items than me.

Is it just the missing virtues? Or do I miss out anything else?

I love the idea of LM but I’m just not understanding some thing about the gameplay. Playing on +3 difficulty and while I can handle things 1v1 just fine, I got my ass repeatedly handed to me in Radlaw last night whether I was Blue or Red. Is it just I don’t have the tools sub level 20 to manage multiple mobs or am I just not understanding hot to handle 2+ mobs at the same time?

I'm a casual players, with the highest level being 42, looking for a Kinship to level and chat with. Anyone tsking new and casual players?

Was playing around with low resolutions and discovered a tiny little plus sign at the top right of the map.

New to the game. Played a lot of WOW back in day and so I'm used to sites like Icy Veins or WOWHead to help with optimizing builds.

I like the idea of a Rune keeper, and was going down the Fire tree cuz channel abilities appeal to me as does range. But to be honest, I'm a little overwhelmed with all the Abilities you have at the get go.

Like, I'm used to having a bunch of abilities, don't get me wrong, but it's because I got used to the rotation and cool down. I have a skill issue with assigning more than 5 five abilities to a bar, and I lose track of when my abilities are ready, so I have skill bars extra large in the middle of my screen, so I can see when my cool downs are over, and so I have zero difficulty clicking them.

That's WOW though. I found out I the game I can make large quick bars without a plug in which is a huge plus, but... I don't know how to track damage. I don't know how to track what skills are valuable for my class. I don't know a lot of things lol. But I'm wanting to learn.

The game, (besides the traveling being slow lol) is fun. I'm only level 7, but I could see myself getting into this. So yeah... Anyone know of any guides that are in depth, and up to date? I've looked at wiki, and HQ and both don't really talk much about the classes....

So dumb question as a new player which server do I play on

I saw this armor from someone in a video, i tried reverse image searching and found a post from 2013 (images below) that labeled this "Westemnet Campaign Armor (crafted light set, level 90)" but when I looked it up after that the model was different? Did they change the craftable armor to a new model and reuse it for something else? Any help is appreciated :)

I know that the Garments of the Waking Wood are the closest but the design of the pieces is much different. So I was just wondering if there's any kind of armor piece that is closer, even from quest rewards, maybe?

Hey so i got a 2am email saying my account details have been updated per my request. Now my password doesnt work and when I enter my username and it says its sending an email to the address I get nothing. Im a day 1 player so im pretty devastated. I cant log in for support, before I write a detailed email to support is there any better way to go about this? Am I out of luck?

just before i got the ssg email about account changes I got this email from Blizzard (never use my old blizzard login) which makes me think there was some data breach?

I personally really like high elf and warden, but think they also make great minstrels (because of Finrod). And I find dwarven brawlers just a perfect fit.

LOTRO engine struggles with high polling rates (like 1000Hz), which causes unnecessary CPU load. Dropping it to 250Hz or lower could dramatically smooth out performance.

I found this helped with stuttering when panning my camera around

Personally I have a logitech mouse so I use Logitech GHUB, but for other brands you will need to use their dedicated program to change it

Hello all.

I just now started this game after discovering it through searching for RPGs and I absolutely love it. It's very nostalgic and reminiscent of other games from my childhood. I am brand new to it, though, and I'm wondering a couple things. I am also trying to get into the lore and this seems like a great way to gain some literacy alongside the books cause I love visually learning and I'm trying to develop my geography/special reasoning skills.

1. How hard is it to get into fellowships with new players/get to a point where servers pay attention to you and want to chat and is it generally a clean environment (not going to get any weird spam or gross stuff that distracts from the experience...genuinely asking? I joined the RP server to hopefully have more immersion and play with those who generally honor the story...maybe I'm wrong but I've already come across a couple cool people)
2. Is there anything I should know that I will regret not knowing later especially since I don't have money to pay for this game and will stay F2P? I've been researching and using online tools to help catch me up on years of content but it is a bit overwhelming and I am taking it a bit at a time.

Been tackling my choice paralysis by playing each of the classes to see which clicks with me. It’s all personal but noticed some classes are much slower at low levels than others.

I know it’s the nature of the game to unlock more stuff as you go but some felt better at early levels. I don’t have too much time to play and so a class being boring, slow or getting better after 40 levels is a bit of a turn off.

I’m picking my own class, but which did you find had the ‘smoothest’ levelling or otherwise felt good early on?

I haven't played LOTRO for about 10 years. I'm feeling burnt out by WoW - it's just so overwhelming these days and I don't have time to keep up with all of its demands. I just want to play something peaceful where I can explore and quest, immerse myself in the story and surroundings, but not feel left behind or like I'm missing massive amounts of content. Is LOTRO suitable? If so, can I play it without having to use the in-game shop all the time? I'm sick of having to pay for pixels. I know it's free to play but I'm willing to subscribe if that helps avoid reliance on the shop.

Hi guys, I haven’t played in many years. Just recently returned. I have a few fully raid geared toons from 100-120, with perfect LIs (for the time). My questions are:

1. Are these LIs pretty much obsolete now or can I level them up with me like you used to?

2. I know I have to go to Rivendell and switch over the legacies to some newer ones? Is this reversible if I were to pick the wrong ones?

3. Are keeping clickies still a thing?

I know I can get a stable ride to Bail Avarc but I want to get to Carn dum. How tf do I get there?? I found a bridge but it’s guarded by a million bad guys. I have the key to the city but i just don’t know how to get there on foot

I have a 150 loremaster that i only ever used to just solo play in red line. Im now planning on getting it to 160 to experience some of the group content - is yellow still a sought after class for groups - and will i as a beginner get a chance to participate?

I’d like to get one of my alts, my guardian who is 66 atm to 105 ready for next weeks update, does anyone want to duo some missions or more team up for sword halls? :)

Ps. I know the journey etc as I usually love taking my time but I am actually doing this to help the server with tanks because there’s such a lack of them and want to get the levels up so I can get him mordor ready! So any help would be amazing :)
