Question Beginner question - trying to create a plant pot holder
So, I've found a type of plant pot holder designed from one rope, tied into a circle, fold, loop, fold, loop, etc.
The issue is that I'm trying to do this to hold an upside down tomato plant, and I need to form a small opening dead center on the bottom of the plant pot. (It's actually a small plastic cylindrical tub with open top, hole drilled in bottom)
I was wondering if anyone had some advice or a pattern that I might be able to look at to figure out how to do this because I don't have any experience with this type of thing, but looking for very specific advice does not make for good google search results.

Something like this one might work

I appreciate that, if I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, I might need to take it up as a hobby and do this. It looks fantastic, albeit slightly more complex than I was anticipating.

I suppose you could skip all the fancy knots in between and just tie the cords together where they are needed to hold your container

You might want to share the pattern you're talking about. Fold loop doesn't sound like macramé.
