I'm trying out a new style. Got inspired by Western/workwear/americana. Does this style suit me? What should i keep, and what should i return? Do these pants seem to be large/short on me? Be brutally honest. Every piece of advice is appreciated. The only clothing pieces that come from my personal closet are the brown shirt, black slacks, beige trench coat, black belt, and light blue jeans pants. The black Levi's in pic 3 seem a bit wide, i think. Also, i cut my own hair differently. Got inspired by a modern mullet. I'm not sure if it suits my face. :) also, ignore the slippers, lol.

I’ve been in search for more relaxed button downs and shirts that fit a more casual style + untucked while not looking like you tried too hard and looking lived in. Along with that, not looking like I’m drowning in the shirt or it being too long. Where do you shop for these, how do you find good sizing? Open to suggestions for brands or thrifting tags and materials to look out for. I have a total of 1 similar fitting shirt but it is a vintage RL chambray shirt but looking to extend my collections. Hello everyone. I have a problem. I'm a young guy, but I've really started to like platform shoes with thick soles. So please don't laugh. I tried on women's styles and they were very comfortable. I know men don't pay that much attention to footwear. My request is: Can you recommend some unisex shoes like Dr. Martens or cowboy boots, even with higher heels? Can’t figure out which OCBD fits better

These pants have been very difficult for me to style this summer. The pastel I think looks good and I added the dark purple bandana as a neck accent.

I’m getting more into classic menswear (or at least inspired by it), and I’ve recently bought a couple things that will serve as the base for my wardrobe. I’ve bought 3 pairs of high-waisted pleated trousers I will use to enhance my outfits.

Bought: — whole outfit in the first pic (pants+sweater+shirt+shoes)
— Brown DB coat in the second pic
— very similar set of gray pants almost identical to the ones in the two pictures, only different in color
— suspenders in the third pic (ignore the fit of the pants I didnt tighten the suspenders right)

My question:
I would like recommendations on what other pieces to buy that would pair well and give my wardrobe more versatility; pants, shirts, sweaters, suit jackets, dress shoes, long overcoats…which colors as well would work well?

I'm getting married this fall! Really excited for it. My question is: where can I buy a reasonably priced Tweed suit? I've heard mixed reviews for Studiosuits, but I found some that I really like from their website. When I looked for some reviews on them, it seems as though they're mixed at best. Some say it was a good suit for the money; others say it was a waste and comically bad.

So, I'm consulting the fine folks here: where can I order a tweed suit for my wedding that doesn't break the bank, or is Studiosuit fine and the reviews are less than reliable?

It's a sweet-looking charcoal herringbone tweed suit.

I want to keep it under $400 if possible.

I’m 42, 5’11, 190 lbs, white, with closely shorn hair (think Jason Statham). I have a fairly basic build…not overly muscular, but not overweight. At work, I wear slacks and buttons downs, occasionally suits. I can afford nicer clothes, but my casual clothes consist largely of shorts/jeans/chinos, graphic tees/polos/henleys, and casual sneakers (like Cole Haan fabric shoes and white rims). An occasional flannel when it’s really cold (although I live in the Southern US). I haven’t changed my style much (if at all) since my 30s and even 20s. But I’m a married dad in my 40s and I feel like I should wear clothes that are mature/sophisticated casual and don’t look like I can’t afford to shop anywhere except J. Crew.

Where should I look for style guidance? What clothing stores should I be shopping at? How can I look like I care what I wear but not look like I’m trying to be too trendy?

It's just rayon or polyester city with these things. I think it comes with the territory, as whenever I find these designs in cotton or something, the price skyrockets.

First I need to decide if I should get a big one like the the Jiffy J-2000 or a small one like the Jiffy Travel Steamer or Rowenta Pure Pop. Then I need to decide the specific one to get.

In terms of how much I'll be using it, for the next few years, I'm probably only going to steam 1 linen shirt a week during the summer and might not even bother with my cotton shirts in the winter so I assume a small one would be better for me.

I’m a young professional working in an office where I don’t need to wear a suit everyday but need to wear a long sleeved buttoned up shirt and slacks/dress pants. A year ago I purchased Bonobos weekday warrior pants given they had good reviews and a decent sale price for a guy who needed to get a half dozen pairs of pants. A year later I’m appalled by the condition they are in leg cuffs are frayed beyond repair, belt loops have been worn away from friction with my chair and they overall are looking a little ratty. Does anyone know of a brand that looks good, is quality material that is will last without breaking the bank for a guy in his late 20s?

For reference I have pants that are Michael koors from JCpennies but it’s impossible to find pants at the mall that are not slim fit. I have a pair that my fiancé got me from brooks brothers that are great but dry clean is the down side there.

Anyone here have this shirt?

Is it soft? Or more abrasive? Does it have any give to it or is it pretty rigid?
