I live in a small (ish) studio in Copenhagen. This is my take at a living room.
I have a proper carpet and some small stuff arriving in the next few days. But I’m pretty happy about it so far.
I agree with rotating the bed, maybe try combining the TV stand and LP player to the same space, could probably hook up the speakers to both with the correct cord. Right now you're trying to do a bit much with too little space. Maybe have the sofa up against the window and have the chair diagonally opposite from the corner.
Ahh I didn’t realise the teddy was Danish, my flat is full of Danish design but not much after the 1970s because I’m cheap and almost exclusively buy from thrift stores and just recondition things.
The ceiling, the walls, the windows, the plugs and lights, the vibe all around, even the furniture. I just get that 7000kr/month for one room in Aarhus feel. Or is it a dorm?
I think the current painting behind the TV is way too loud / distracting. Would change the place of it, TV experience would be a lot better. otherwise looks great.
We bought the corner open and I completely agree. Way too expensive compared to what you get. You need to “fluff” (don’t know the right term) the pillows at least once a week or it gets completely out of shape, and the fabric on the mattresses get so loosen the corners also flatten out. We’ve had it for under 6 months.
Åh ja, gudskelov. Haha! Prøver på dansk så. Puderne bliver flade og skal bankes op konstant, stoffet folder og laver løse riller der hvor man sidder. Selve madrassen holder fint form, men hjørnerne rundes af når man sidder “for meget” på dem. Derudover tilkøbte vi de der silikone glidere som jeg vitterligt ikke aner hvordan man skal få ned over stængerne da de danner vacuum og max kan komme 3 cm ned og så sætter sig fast (måske er jeg bare dum og fatter ikke teknikken😅)
Anyways vores står endda i et hjørne op ad væg. Ville blive sindssyg hvis det skulle stå ud i rummet uden støtte.
Yes! Then it will be a really cozy space (especially with the stuff the OP mentioned is coming). Very suitable for hanging out, and a nice spot to bring dates back to ;)
In the past, danish people bred ‘protest pigs’ when we were forbidden to raise our flag. They had a ‘coat’ that resembled the danish flag colors. Just let us show our flag! 😁🇩🇰
I would put it on the Wall though - takes some lighting from the window. 🤔
I know in dannebrog symbolizes belonging and not so much nationalism and therefore I understand it but in general country flags in the wall can be easily understood aggressive political affiliation.
Nice furniture. Beside the comments suggesting to turn the bed, I would also suggest a bed cover. Doesn’t have to be a lot of effort, just a large blanket to cover the sheets during day time.
Also, the flag give a very nationalist vibe, but if that’s your thing go for it.
The “nationalist vibe” is very Danish. We use our flag for all kind of celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, even for Christmas some people put a garland with the flag on the tree🇩🇰

You can use the dressers as a "room divider" so you have your bedroom (makeshift wall) and living room.Can get two floor plants to add color and seperation.
Rotate the bed. Put up some kind of divider - maybe curtains affixed to the ceiling - to hide it away. It looks nice and girls (and boys!) love that shit.
Ah, ok , Now we can make out why the sofa is so close to the bed, it's probably so that it doesn't block the glass door. It's a nice set up and you still have a bit of free floor space left.
It's very nice. It would look even better if the speakers were not on the tall feet and the cables were fixed neatly with cable clips. You could put the speakers on little shelves on the wall, maybe a plant next to one of them.
Chiming in: I'd rotate the bed and put the desk of drawers in between the living room and the bed so it kind of separates it and makes it seem like having two rooms if that makes sense. Put the art by the bed instead of behind the tv. And also get some of those cable hiders so you don't have the cables dangling like that as it makes it messy.
Også dansker her! Vil helt klart anbefale at du vender sengen så hovedet er mod den anden væg istedet. Så får du lidt mere plads. Kunsten kan du med fordel hænge et andet sted så du rent faktisk kan nyde hele værket. Derudover ville jeg anbefale at skabe lidt mere luft om dine møbler, ryk lænestolen ud af det lille hjørne, så den bliver mere brugbar. Det virker også lidt depot agtig på andet billede med alle de møbler op ad væggen. Se om du kan finde en anden plads til f.eks. Det lille bord.
If its not your birthday or you’re not a raging nationalist, i’d remove that flag.
If you want something patriotic, get something that is decorative and not cheap polyester. a framed poster of the city or something landmarks or something.
Kan du købe et sengestel så sengen ikke står på gulvet? Det er et kæmpe turnoff for dates med en madras på gulvet 😬 og få nogle større lagner så man ikke kan se pletterne på madrassen.
Er desuden enig i at du bør flytte/udskifte billedet over tv’et og dreje sengen, og måske bruge det lave bord som sengebord hvis du har plads? Det ser lidt random ud der hvor det står nu. Som om det var i overskud
Højttalerne er meget bachelor pad men fair nok, det er jo også hvad det er.
Gardiner kunne måske give noget. Og et par galleri hylder med display af et par af dine yndlings plader.
Det virker ret sterilt på trods af nogle fede møbler.
I think the room looks a little cluttered and cramped as it is now. My suggestion would be to get rid of both the bed and the sofa and replace them with a nice, good-quality sofa bed. At the same time, you could rearrange things a little to create more space and make the room feel calmer, lighter, and more open.
I think this would make the room feel much bigger and more harmonious. Some new artwork on the walls could also make a real difference and give the room a fresh new look.

I would probably rotate the bed to the wall, it is very snug against the couch now.
I would also move (or remove) the art behind the TV. It looks weird there.
