I want to read a manga (or an anime too) with a chronically ill character who deals with everyday physical pains and are rendered helpless. Being someone who deals with chronic pains, people around me tend to hate me and misunderstand my condition. I'm looking for a representation of this, even if it's a side character.

Hi! Can you guys help me find this one Sci-fi Romance, Tragedy and Drama manga I forgot the title but the summary is: A girl having a crush on a guy whose job is to fight some aliens or invasive species on Earth and this guy is kind of like a celebrity hero character. They have a romance but the guy also has a girlfriend, and the guy suddenly started acting different implying that he got replaced by an alien or something.. Thats pretty much what I remember!

I’ve seen some talk about ‘I Want To Hold Aono-kun So Badly I Could Die’ after Fujimoto recommended it. I haven’t read it yet and don’t know much about the romance side of things, so no spoilers haha, but I do see from the panels people posted that it has a lot of body horror and stuff like that. Which I do enjoy.

Anything else ya’ll would recommend along those lines?

Hi guys, I'm new to the sub. My gf and I watch anime together, and when we first started dating she told me she used to read a lot of manga. She's into a lot of things but especially stories that revolve around love. I know there's probably tons of manga, but does anyone have suggestions for a physical manga series I can buy for her that really stands out?

Let me first start by saying my favorite anime and manga so you know what my preference is in stories. My favorite anime’s are Code Geass, Gurren Lagann Evangelion and maybe Mushoku Tensei or 86. As for manga my favorites are Choujin X, Chainsawman and Bibliomania. I want a manga or light novel similar to any of these that is honestly lesser known since I’ve read and watched mostly everything. Thank you and that’s all I promise to read whatever you send and give it a rating on how I liked it :)

I remember reading this a year ago about an office worker who has a stiff or robotic personality, awkward socially, and the popular guy at the office befriends him and the popular girl is interest in him (I think?). Also I remember one of the volume covers him being surrounded by a crowd full of emotions and him just standing there with a stiff face? I also remember the last chapter I read was a flashback to him dating in college. Thanks!

I remember the main character had the ability to control chains, and he had some blue ai assistant that only he could see that helped him. It was basically a monster apocalypse manga like all the others. I remember him using guns a good bit too at the start. If you can help me find the title it would make me rather happy(plus you would be better than ai)

The manga was about a man who inherited a position to help out and clean and stuff at what I think was basically a red light district for yokai/spirits. And none of the women who work there want him around so he has to slowly win their trust. It’s an ecchi romcom

Hey everyone, I'm losing my mind trying to find a specific manga I used to read. It's an ongoing ecchie/harem manga with over 50 chapters, and it doesn't have an anime adaptation.

Here are the specific details I remember:

• Protagonist: A blonde male lead.
• The Academy / Plot: It's set in an academy and features a tournament arc at the end.
• Key Characters: A childhood friend who was originally mistaken for a boy, an excessively large-busted mother, a queen and two other female characters who build a group with the protagonist and the childhood friend.
• Notable Events: There's a specific sequence involving a queen and a sexual encounter with a fire spirit/elemental on a volcano.

the story is like the bottom enters the house of her grandma and finds that monster that looks like a guy from behind and like they get on with it and the monster transforms his D to a P SORRY ITS SO MESSED UP

I've been binge reading a lot. specifically romance anime cuz I like wholesome stuff and I don't need any dark themes or wtv in my life atm.

but as I read the mangas, and specifically the ones that have finished, I just feel so empty. the endings are nice and cute, but I can't help but wish for an epilogue. I don't want to say goodbye to these characters forever. I want to know whats going on in their lives in the future. it feels like getting to know someone and they're just gone the next day.

does anybody else share similar feelings when they finish manga? how do you deal with it? God I just want to see more of the characters.

Hi! I’m currently on the newly released manga chapter 28 of From Overshadowed to Overpowered.

Could someone who has read the light novel confirm which LN volume chapter 28 corresponds to? I’ve seen conflicting answers about whether it’s the end of Volume 5.

Also, roughly how many manga chapters do you think will be needed to adapt all 8 light novel volumes?

No plot spoilers, please! I only want the LN volume correspondence and a rough estimate of the number of chapters needed to finish the story.
