Does it get better? Spoiler

I have been watching this show and I’m almost done with season 2 ep 1. The small details that make no sense are driving me insane. Does it get any better? I’m not trying to finish this if it keeps on happening. It’s honestly so annoying.
Like in s2 e1, how does the Japanese know everything what happened (the shootout with the resistance people where the blonde lady dies)? There were no Japanese survivors, unless there was some dude hiding in the bushes that did nothing. Stupid things like these are in literally every episode, and I was hoping they would go away. I have to turn off my brain to not go insane.

I don’t regret watching this to the end but in retrospect the only reason to have done so was two performances:

Rufus Sewell and Joel de la Fuente

The plot is sort of a mess and doesn’t really get better.

I’m also watching it for first time right now. Season one was so-so but seasons 2-3 pick up a lot and got really interesting. I’m halfway through season 4 rn and it’s a little different but I def like the show better than I did through season one. They show you much more of the world and it draws you in a lot more in season 2 imo

Yes it will soon end, with the Japanese that won’t even be able to find resistance members in front of their faces

Ok so I just finished it. Yeah you can turn your brain off. The ending isn’t great. I enjoyed watching the show at some points but couldn’t say I’d recommend someone finishing it.

Cool ideas. Bad execution

I feel like this describes most Phillip K. Dick stories. He had some really intriguing ideas that he just couldn't really finish into great stories.

Bladerunner works as a movie but only because they changed a bunch of things about the story (including giving the androids a full emotional life, which makes you question whether it's OK to kill them).

Seems Amazon cancelled the show abruptly, so Season 4 is, ahem..., not quite as stellar as preceding seasons. Not horrible, but you can tell it wasn't originally planned that way.

For me it became watch the show not the details. Had too many things I thought oh this means something that ended up meaning nothing. Then things that I thought nothing of meaning something. Still enjoyed the show.

I have never fast fw a show as much as this one. After s1 i was annoyed by all the plots but nazis. Plots with frank and his mate, the antique dude, resistance and finally after s2, I couldn't stomach the Japanese either. Just watched Nazis being Nazis and I liked John Smith character, the actor did good job fs. I was excited about it for a minute but they fucked up biggly, s4 is the worst one. They should have made a movie instead of 4s show.

Season 2 is the best. It's gonna get good ep1 onwards. It'll peak at the last episode or so. It'll taper down s3 onwards. S4 is meh.
