Studying abroad
I’m doing my first year abroad in Italy next year and am scared im gonna fall behind when I get back to the American campus, has anyone has experience in this and can convince me I will be fine?

My daughter spent her first year in Florence. She finished many academic requirements and made lots of friends. Enjoy your time abroad!

I didnt but I lived w several girls who did first year in Ireland. They all came to campus with really strong friendships and a lot of hard lessons learned. It’s definitely jumping into the deep end of the pool but if you are independent and self-motivated and have grit and common sense, youre going to come out much stronger and sharper. As for the academics, you will be fine- most AP classes are harder than Marist classes. Enjoy Italy- it’s going to be AMAZING!! So many adventures waiting for you
