We need a repost of the dude who got trampled by a male looking for a nearby female who’d given a mating call. That was basically the opposite of this video. Funniest thing to me was the guy saying to the bull “okay, buddy, that’s close enough now”

Dont get me wrong you shouldnt get caught in said situation ideally. Making human noises like clanging metal is enough to deter most things that miss your scent etc.
But when faced down with a bull moose in rut you basically just have to hope its not your time.

Moose are very dangerous! They have the fabulous combination of bad eyesight and general aggression. I live just south of the Canadian border and all the folks I know are more concerned about a moose than a grizzly bear.

Source? Because I suspect it’s from that guy in Alaska who is like Snow White to moose and birds. There’s been multiple generations of moose coming to his yard to eat his plants and nap, from calf to adult to new calf, and they’ll even rest their heads on his lap.

The big moose looks really kind and touches the camera mildly like wanting to take a headshot lol. But for most people keeping away wild animals might be the better choice.

This is cool, but please never try this. Moose are skiddish and extremely protective of their young. A mama moose will stomp you just for her calf walking up to you.

If cartoons have taught me anything, that is a female moose. The longer eye lashes. A pink or red bow would confirm but I guess we all have to cut back in this economy.
