Eggs costing $12 per carton will never not be funny

I bought 30 eggs at my local Weis for 3.99.

Stop with eggs are expensive.

Is toilet paper an option or has Canada raise tariffs?

Whole peanuts would be excellent, then the birds would cover their homes in their bird shit.

Is that a triple negative? Wow, those are rare.

Edit: Nope just a double negative. Sad that she said the opposite of what she meant.

For anyone learning English from reddit, as I know it is commonly used for this, the correct version would be:

“I can’t believe we used to throw eggs at houses and now we can neither afford eggs nor houses.”

u/BVRPLZR_ 19m ago

I’d put the neither after afford. But I hate English

That should teach you to waste eggs and houses:)

Might be our karma 🥺😭

u/PurpleFloyd777 9m ago

This must mean we should throw houses at the eggs to make it go back the other way, right?

Kids these days can't even afford mischief without taking out a personal loan first.

Harsh reality.....

u/vince2423 38m ago

What reality? Eggs have been back to normal for awhile… this meme is a year late

u/ZainMunawari 30m ago

What about houses? The housing prices got blown like a giant parachute. Literally unaffordable.

It might be an year old meme but the reality is at its place sir.
