I heard they had 2 ideas for a sequel, one with delta squad working for the empire and another with Sev training the first rebels. Ideally I would have 2 campaigns that's based on those 2 ideas and completing both unlocks a final story where Delta Squad confronts Sev's rebels.

and the thing is, they can still do it. Delta Squad shows up in the clone wars and the Bad Batch, they ARE working for the empire.

As much as I loved Bad Batch, I don't really understand the point of including Scorch, considering how it ended. They did worse than nothing with him and I'm not sure why. I was fully expecting a BB vs. Delta Squad showdown, showing the Batch who the original elite commando squad was. Instead we got, well, you saw the show.

They werent gonna have the other genetically modified clones show up the Bad Batch. We never got Null/Alpha Arcs really do anything plus the commandos became a foot note beside nostalgia bait and Gregor

That would have been great, and that was also my immediate thought when I heard about the sequel pitches. It could have even had a Double Dragon-style finale where you pick a team to play as, and you got a different ending based on who wins the final battle.
