Advice Needed medication increases

so over the past few years, every couple of months my dose gets upped because it stops working. i’m taking 450mg of wellbutrin and 20mg of fluoxitine. is it ever going to get better? when is enough that i can’t increase it anymore and im just never going to get better?

This sounds exhausting, but reaching a dose limit does not mean you have reached the limit of possible improvement. Medication response can change, and sometimes the next step is a careful review rather than another increase. Tell your prescriber exactly how long each increase helps, what symptoms return, and whether you have side effects. Keep taking your current doses as prescribed until you speak with them.

if not another increase, what? therapy? it never worked and it won’t.
