Started a security consulting company. Spent three years setting the foundation and getting small contracts.
Through a connection, I got a sit down meeting with a large healthcare company. Three hour meeting discussing the services we offer and how we can fit the services into their security program. Got great feedback and follow-up email with discussion on procurement process.
I am completely overwhelmed. The services they need we provide and I stand firmly by them. It's just we went from small organizations to a major regional corporation.
I know this is what we have worked for over the last two years. But I'm still just shell shocked and overwhelmed.

I’m in my mid 20s and feel very prideful. I'm selective of who I spend my time with, and how I'm treated, and I'm averse to compromising my capacity for compassion and empathy. I feel I've isolated myself from everyone around me. I'm unestablished, (part way through degree, poor work skills), and things are unstable.
I believe I've built good skills protecting and expressing my emotions around certain family members, like yellow and grey rocking. However it's built an apathy and a false sense of pride, and I'm avoidant of situations where I'm treated differently, or lesser.
This means I'm often non-compliant at work, although I try to learn the best that I can, and I seem indifferent, to feedback that can be critical in the moment.

When I was a student, I had a teacher who acted as a true mentor for me. He helped me process a lot of deeper thoughts, helped me navigate what that experience was like as someone who feels quite deeply and quite a lot. We bonded and shared music, books, and philosophical works. We are no longer in touch, and that makes me sad, but that relationship was so valuable to me.

I am hoping I can find something similar here. Gender doesn't matter but ideally you are a few years older than me and able to provide that mentoring aspect. I would like someone to go to for guidance, advice, and wisdom. Someone in academia, medicine, or the arts are a particularly good fit.

What stood out to me was how little it sometimes takes to help someone move forward

You dont always need to have all the answers

Sometimes you just need to have been a few steps further down the road and be willing to share what worked and more importantly what didnt

Ive made plenty of mistakes building businesses over the years

Ive also had some pretty good wins

If sharing those experiences helps someone avoid one mistake or gives them the confidence to actually start then thats time well spent

For years, diplomacy has been my world. I’m 21 yrs old, and was fortunate enough to win many of my country's national trade diplomacy competitions and represent my country in some of the world's most prestigious international institutions. I saw the strengths of the system, but I also saw the cracks that everyone learns to live with. I couldn't. So instead of complaining about them, I decided to build the solution myself: an international platform that redesigns how diplomacy and crisis management are taught and practiced.
I have designed the whole platform architecture, and I have a strong international network, and a deep knowledge of the field…
My dilemma is this: I'm a non-technical founder. This isn't a project one developer can realistically build alone. Even the MVP requires expertise across frontend and backend engineering, scalable system architecture, databases, authentication, real-time communication, AI integration, cloud infrastructure, and security. I can't build it myself, and I can't afford to hire the people needed.
The obvious answer is always, "Find a technical co-founder." But if I give away significant equity every time I need expertise in another area, I'll have very little company left before I've even launched.
I've reached out to senior engineers I know, not asking them to build the product, just hoping for thirty minutes of guidance here and there. Every one of them was too busy. I don't blame them, but it made me realize how lonely this journey can be when you're non technical…
So I'm asking founders who've been here before: What did you do? How did you get your first MVP built when you had the vision but neither the technical skills nor the money? I feel completely stuck, and I'd genuinely appreciate any advice from people who've made it through this stage.

Not every MVP gets customers

Sometimes the market just gives you an answer you didnt want

So instead of spending the next 6 months trying to force something that nobody seems to want I want to try a completely different experiment

I want to find one person who has a skill knowledge or experience they think could become a business but they dont know where to start

And I want to help them build it

I dont want equity

I dont want a percentage

I dont want to sell you anything at the end

The only thing I want in return is permission to document the journey as a case study including what works what fails and the actual numbers

My background is pretty simple

Ive spent most of my working life in the asphalt and civil industry

I eventually took a gamble on a $30k truck and built an asphalt business that went on to do seven figures

That business has now done over $450k in revenue this quarter

But building my own business doesn't automatically mean I can help somebody else build theirs

Thats what I want to test

The plan would be 30 days

We start with you

What problems have you solved

What are you genuinely passionate about

What professional skills or knowledge do you already have

Then we find the overlap

From there we look at whether theres actually a market for it

Who has the problem

Who has money to solve it

What the problem is worth

What we could offer them

And most importantly we test whether somebody will actually pay for it BEFORE wasting weeks building websites logos automations and all the other shit people convince themselves is progress

No guru bullshit

No promise that we're going to build the next million dollar company

The first target is much simpler

Go from an idea to the first $1,000 in real revenue

If we fail I'll document why we failed

If we make $200 I'll document that

If we make $10,000 I'll document that too

I actually think the failures will probably teach us as much as the wins

You dont need to know anything about marketing

But you do need some sort of skill experience passion or problem you've learned how to solve

​The first sass i build restaurant operation software & qr menu. I spend too much time build it & adding feature. Actually it saturated market, my wife do visit 15restaurants, no sales because of not enough reputation, its red ocean market & most of them already use software with vendor lockin for 1 year.

​Then I build another sass. This time I looking for partner to handle the business part. Its CCTV AI solution for supermartket, parking lot, factory, etc. But also, no sales, my partner handled all the distribution. Lesson learned.

​Then I start build distribution myself. Im ongoing build a new saas, that currently viral, i just copy and add my own value. But I notice this time the distribution is hard, I try approach small influencer for collaborate doesnt works. Now my plan is just comment on reddit, and post into related discord. But it probably not works. So Idk what better solution for the distribution.

​Also I tried faceless content on instagram last 2 months. but doesnt works, maybe it just too much AI slop or low quality. Now Im thinking to start my youtube channel with my own face on AI niche, how I code with AI, and demoing what AI agent can do. I still figure out framework to make my content consistent to produce enough volume.

​I also wanna helping my wife business, she is real estate monthly rental agent. But recently also almost no sales/low number of sales. What she does just comment on facebook group look for high intent buyer. Maybe I can automate the high intent signal, but I need the leads proof first before build. I already help build a website, and improve SEO for visibility.

I need a mentor who can guide me in a better direction. Im willing to contribute what I can help with my 10years+ experience in building software, recently on AI.

The concept is simple: mentors and mentees create profiles around experience, goals, interests, availability, and communication style. Mentees find people they’re interested in, mentors choose who they want to work with, and the platform helps with matching, scheduling, goals, and accountability.
