What do you call a buncho baby mice?

Honestly I'm glad I took the time to not only catch her and save my dad's snacks and corn in the process, but I'm glad I didn't release her right away. I caught her around the time of the Canada wildfires and I didn't release her during the smoke haze. I'm glad I made that choice knowing now she had been pregnant. I'm also glad I kept her instead of releasing her because they would've resulted in 5 mice terrorizing my dad's corn lol

I was getting choked up just typing this.

I garden and this year I have a lot of beans more specifically the dried outer pods with the beans removed. Are these safe for mice? I googled it and it was only giving me information about the beans themselves. The dried empty pods would be a new texture for my mouse but I’m unsure if it’s actually safe.

Anybody know a good ethical place to get fancy mice from? I’m on Vancouver island and can’t find anyone 😭

One of the girls I kept as a pet from my last brindle litter. Compared to my other brindles she has the most weight.

She’s an active girl, who eats the same as others. She just holds more chonk 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi, so tonight i went outside bc my dog was barking at smt. Turns out it was my cat trying to catch a mouse. She was hiding in my shoe and i managed to get my cat away from her. She dos have a scratch on her side tho. I think you can see it on the picture. I panicked a little and while i was thinking about what to do, she jumped off my hand and ran away. I took both my cats inside with me so she could really get away but im thinking about the Injurie she has.
Do u think she can make it?

She's well taken care of, don't worry. The injury looks to be older and I can't catch her and take her to the vet, but they get food and water daily and have heaps of places to hide.

Surprisingly (or not, based on her looks) she is NOT the outcast. The other mice are scared of her. I thought the others would bully her away from the food and she'd only get whatever is left, but nope. They avoid her and when a mouse gets too close our little badass lunges forward and scares the crap out of them. She gets the first bite at the menu and she defends her right to a first bite!

Before anything else, I want to acknowledge that I had no idea that she was pregnant when I caught her. I just want to make that clear in case it's confusing.

Also before I go on a nervous rant, just acknowledge how cute they are. Sorry for the blurry picture, I didn't want to stress her out.

Okay, so I've been keeping this mouse (if you've seen my pictures before you can see her, her name is Willow) because my step dad didn't want her roaming around the house, and every time I released her she would just keep coming back, so I've been keeping her in an old enclosure for my gerbils until I can figure out what to do with her.

No shelter nearby takes mice and the "nearest" wildlife relocation center is 3 hours. I can't drive. So I've been keeping her with me. I've owned rodents like gerbils and mice and rats before so she's been fairly comfortable. I was not intending on keeping her permanently, but I cannot deny that I have definitely grown attached.

What I did not expect...she had babies. Mice are definitely the rodents I have owned the least amount of time, only once and they were all males and not deer mice, so... I didn't notice she was pregnant. I got home early from school for a dentist appointment.. and she got up to go to the water dish that I left in there for her...and when she got up I saw something squirming. I thought it was her tail but...no. She had 4 or 5 babies. Not sure, I didn't want to peek in too long (she was already giving me the momma stare when I just walked by) or move her or move them and disturb the peace.

What do I do? I'm not as educated with mice as I am with rats or gerbils. She's not anxious while staying with me, she seems relatively comfortable, and while she avoids physical touch, I assume that's normal because she was not a domesticated mouse. I don't really try to touch her anyways and I have gloves whenever I change her food dish or water dish, and she clearly doesn't want physical contact since she's bit my gloved finger once, so I haven't been pushing because as I said I did not intend on keeping her permanently. She's by all means living in luxury right now. Should I leave her alone? Last time I let her go she came back. I'm so confused, someone please tell me what to do. I could 100% keep her and she would live in luxury, I just don't know how my parents would feel about it. I have enough money and resources to take care of them though.

Hi, i found a little helpless baby mouse today turned over on its back. What can i do with this tiny little mouse? i live in mississauga around the credit valley hospital, is anyone willing and able to take care of this little one? i called Toronto Wildlife Centre and they said he’s too young and they are not equipped. Help.

Glacier mice are real

On August 17th, I brought home two mice. They are both M, but they were raised together and aren't showing any aggressive behavior! I will stay on the lookout, but they have been together since they were born as far as I'm aware!

I have housed them in a Full Cheeks cage with 3-levels. It is 24.8 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 21.2 inches tall/high, filled with between 2.5-3 inches of bedding. I used the Kaytee paper bedding and a small amount of the Full Cheeks herb and flower forage blend. I have a flexible retaining wall (Full Cheeks) on the bottom level, and a hanging hammock/hide (Full Cheeks) attached to the top- accessed by the top level.

For enrichment, they have a solid wheel (Full Cheeks,) 2 out of the 4 mixed ball chews (Full Cheeks,) a tumble and toss chew (Oxbow,) and a carousel tumble chew (Full Cheeks.)

For food, they have a bowl filled with the VitaSmart natural forage blend and a small amount of the Full Cheeks herb and flower forage blend mixed in! They have a water bottle with filtered water available opposite width-wise of the food bowl. Both are found on the second-level of the cage.

Their names are Pongo and Freckles!
