She randomly comes back with a butt load of food items once in a while

Is it really that obscure??

I saw lemons and that was my first thought

Yes, apparently.

A few weeks ago, someone posted a ring camera screenshot of a woman literally stealing lemons out of her front lawn.

I, being a reddit addict and connoisseur of grown up themed movies, obviously called her what she was and got downvoted.

That lives rent free in my head, and was the first thing I thought of when seeing OP’s mom’s horde of lemons.

Those people just didn't want to admit they knew it... but they did.

Yes. People that know about it find it memorable, but not many people know about it so it's still obscure.

I honestly don't know what that is supposed to mean.

It's not obscure. There's just a lot of young people on Reddit that weren't even born when the scene that the meme comes from was released.

This is honestly one of my biggest issues with Reddit now.

So many new users and so many of them so young and they don't know or understand many of the references or phrases that use to be the core of Reddit.

And I'm seeing so many subs moving to change to adapt to the new users. It's sad times.

Anyways it's been more than 10 seconds so I better look at my lemon trees before the OPs mom comes by
