My mom said I could post Guess who’s sleeping on the couch all week!?

I was looking for the charger to my kindle… and I ended up finding out that the slats underneath my bed had rotted, and there was ACTUAL MOSS, growing under the mattress. So all of it had to be thrown out and I’m sleeping on the sofa till friday. Worst part? Didn’t even find the stupid kindle charger

edit:it was mold and not moss, I am an idiot(and also Im a Deltarune fan so I often have moss in my head)

edit 2:I think it happened because of how close my bathroom is to the bedroom, and I really like long hot showers.

A fan and dehumidifier and a heater does wonders for a stuffy room.

Same. Last week was almost open windows weather here in southwest Michigan but today and tomorrow its back to 90°+ heat indices 🥵

Yeah last week I opened the windows a couple times in the evenings and it was glooooorious. Now it's just a steamy hellscape out there again. (I'm in south central MI). I'm just glad I finally live in a home with AC because it keeps things reasonably dry. Well, and cool too, but those energy bills suck so I'm treading a fine line here.

I have a studio apartment with one window and a room AC unit and I'm finally figuring out the most efficient way to cool my place; I also have baseboard heaters that automatically turn on in like October, but I like cold weather so I just keep them turned down as far as I can and open my window all winter

About time for Chicago to make the seamless transition from summer to winter. Then another 6 months or so go from winter back to summer.

Right! Lol in Atlanta it was 94° with 99% humidity 😂 it would not have been worth it to even crack the window

Am I missing something? Is this a reference? That’s an incredibly common English language phrase to the point it’s the name of Terry Gross’s NPR show.

Huh. I’ve lived in very humid and hot places, but i would still not describe the phrase fresh air as “eerie and creepy.”

Well, you need at least 10 l/s op fresh air per person regardless, if you want to maintain healthy indoor CO2 levels.

Floor fan (the ones used for drying) might be better for their case but I agree.
