Get a better one. And a gasket.

i have extra gaskets, but i think i’ll just buy a better rated header since this one already had iffy reviews

Looks like the holes for the studs ain’t big enough, use a file or a slightly larger than the hole drill bit to enlarge it and it should slip over, just minor clearance issues that comes with these parts lol, and a gasket to seal up the header on the head if you don’t already have one

Bent studs. Not sure how you managed that

Normally i'd say just file the hole out and send it but that metal looks really cheap and that weld is not confidence instilling. The pipe will probably just fall off the mounting plate while you're riding it so yeah i'd just exchange it

Amazon headers aren't strong enough and often crack off. Get a new one. Kartworks canada has NR racing headers for the same price just about if you're in canada, and if not then NR racing has good headers lol

"bought this cheapo header from amazon and it feels a teeny bit off"

Yup. You hit all the buzzwords; "cheap" and "amazon".

Send it back and score a better header ...with the gasket.

Just drill the hole out. Also I think I may have the same pipe

nah its just a super tight fit. i installed basically the same exact set up only a few days ago, either get a dremel and make the holes a bit wider, or just place the pipe on there and tap/LIGHTLY beat it down. 🤷🏻‍♂️ i tapped mine down with a wrench, no issues, make sure you've got the heat resistant gasket on there, and your set.

You could open the holes up with a round file just a little bit, it looks like it's almost there.

exactly, it’s so close to being a perfect fit. but i think i’ll just return this one for a cheaper, higher rated one anyways to be on the safe side.

Dremel make short work of that hole.

Just drill it out

Looks like and amazon exhaust. I had to file the holes some on mine. Make sure you put heat resistant goop and a gasket before your pipe.

Your right bolt looks bent

Open up the holes a little bit. Dremel, die grinder. I had to open several flanges.

Oh ya they're crap. Mine didn't fit and the welds broke shortly after anyways lol. Minibikes aren't for not mechanics type. I'm constantly working on them, meanwhile a Honda can go 30 years without issue lol.

I took the header off my 212 and put it on my 224 and had that same thing happen and I just ended up taking a drill bit and slightly widening the one hole and it fit just fine and has been working ever since.

You could try to mske more thread with a tap and die kit and oil

I don't think that you understand how the header attaches to the engine.
