Best Input For Modular System

Looking primarily for sending audio from my Motu M4 into my modular. Don't need expert sleepers as not looking for sending CV too.

I'm want something that is reliable, clean and minimal noise. Using it primarily to send recorded vocal into my case.

There seems to be a lot out there.

Let me know what works for you!

THANK YOU

Joranalogue Receive 2 is a pretty solid option if not needing an envelope follower.

I use larachd. it has an envelope follower too which is useful.

I’m new to this. Why do input modules sometimes have envelope followers and how would these typically be used ?

an  example would be to send it to reverb wet/dry so the louder the input the more effect there is.

You need an FX adapter module. The audio voltage level needs to be attenuated to modular signal level

I've had a look- isn't this more suited for external effects pedals?

I want something I can send audio from Ableton via my Motu directly into modular.
