Commute What time do things open?

I’m a commuter and unfortunately due to where I live busses don’t run as frequently as I would like and it looks like I’ll be arriving on Campus at 6:15-6:30am. I called and spoke to someone at RHC and they told me nothing opens till 8! Is this true?! I just need a place indoors to sit and eat my breakfast maybe do some homework. I really hope this isn’t the case :( Can anyone confirm?

unless they changed the times, sam's place in machuga heights opens at like 7. i used to dorm there and whenever i was bored in the morning i went to grab a waffle or smth

i usually got there 7 ish and most building are usually open but as for food java love in the annex of the rec center opens 7 ish!! thats the only cafe that opens early but most buildings will open w ur student ID if locked but not susan hall since its mostly administrative but im usually able to open dickson hall after hours w my ID

i actually found out coincidentally that Java Love opens 7 am cause even on grubhub it didnt show lmao thank you!! i hope your semester is great as well

gym opens at 6am
nothing is really open until 7:30/8am though so they aren’t completely lying
there’s a dunkin and mc donald’s just off the campus roundabout , dunkin is 24/7 , not sure bout the mc donald’s
but anyways, on campus you can tap your ID and get into building, you can look around and be curious that’s what i do to kill time, never got stopped and questioned by cleaners or staff

go to SBUS 2nd floor when you get some free time to check out the study rooms. you can tap your ID to get in early but there’s about 10 study rooms (estimated) on that floor
there’s a whiteboard in each room
i go in to debrief before my next class but make sure to reserve the room when you first get there. any issues pm me!

ik school has already started, but i used to get there at that same time as well and go to the business school! i graduated but i miss that building 😭 (tip: arriving at 6:30 is the perfect time to reserve yourself a private room on the 2nd floor, left of the staircase! super helpful during exam week)
