I cant use it as a default player

I had mpv as my default player for years, yesterday I moved the file to another drive and since then I can't use it as a default player, the app works just fine but I can't simply click on the video and wait for it to open, it opens a window to chose an app to open the video from and even if I chose mpv it doesn't work and even the app icon doesn't appear on that window, just the name. I tried to delete it and reinstall but nothing changed

Re-set it as a default program in [Default Apps] or use a .bat file to register all the relevant video file extensions as MPV related. Since you moved it, Windows can't find it, hence needing to re-set it.

The release has a 'mpv-register.bat' file. Use that.
