MOD POST Codex Bundle: Discussions ✔️ - Showcases ❌
Hi,
Due to the unbelievable volume of people posting "I got my Codex Bundle, please look at it!" we decided to temporarily restrict them.
You are absolutely allowed to talk about the Codex Bundle.
We're only placing image posts with the Codex as the subject in the approval queue for manual checks. A human will see and review your post (eventually) even though it's likely to be removed.
We understand that there may be issues with the Bundle and talking about those issues is 100% allowed. We're just trying to keep the subreddit "scrollable" without having to look at a Codex Bundle image after another ad nauseam.
Sorry about this and thank you for understanding! Feel free to leave feedback as a comment!

I think if they were open bundles with pics of the pulls by them and the contents itd be cool.
But the sealed product is boring.

Sure, can approve some of those! Thus far 90% are of sealed product.

Yeah honestly I'm happy for this decision, I'm glad for anyone who managed to get a codex but as someone who couldn't get his hands on one looking at these posts kinda makes me feel a bit worse.

What are the issues people are talking about?

There have been a lot of cancellations and relistings, I assume that's the issues.
Amazon had a restock wave that seems there's a particular amount of cancellations for.
Also, 3rd party resellers have been problematic the whole time.

Called it! At the time of writing that I did not know of any issues. People were happily receiving their product. Now Amazon is being Amazon, apparently.

Unsure. But knowing WotC there must be something.

It's simply not appearing on Amazon for me, like it's blocked. I've even switched from CAD to USA

I had gotten a preorder in at Amazon when they went up for 89.99 Thursday night, just got the email a few minutes ago that the order was cancelled because they were no longer available from the supplier, which is a bit of a bummer as my local target and Walmart don’t stock Magic, or really any tcgs since the Pokemon stuff got out of hand several years ago.

Yeah, yet if you look for the CBB it's for sale "shipper/seller: Amazon" and it's now $185.71.
V cool.

If it helps, I ( or rather my wife typing as me) was able to get Amazon support to agree to refund the difference between the original msrp price and the obscene mark up price, might be worth trying,

I'll say I saved $90 and move on. Not going to support that kind of bullshit practice.
Companies have been doing it with RAM/SSDs for months. A preorder is a preorder, they've had plenty of time to establish the price and how they're going to label it.
I realize they do not have to honor the sale as it was not finalized, nor do they owe me anything, but they can also kiss my ass.
Glad it worked out for ya though.

Rolled into best buy and got one. Cracked a vampire tutor and extended foil woe. So all in all pretty good box.

Cool for the people who are rightfully annoyed by the fact they couldnt buy one when they wanted to. Like, guys, please read the room. The annoyance for those people wont go away by you shoving pics of your bundle under their nose!

Someone I know pulled a serialised Emeritus of Ideation from his Codex Bundle.

On the other end of the spectrum, I opened two Codex with $25 of value each - not including promos (price is unrealistically high atm)
Highest card was $10. Next was $5

I, too, enjoy looking at the Wizards shrink wrap.
